Nick Hernazdez pitched 7IN 1BB 9K's 1ER and got the lost thanks to our catcher who threw it away and then the run scored on a groundball out. yeah our pitcher Michael Blanco had 8 K's in that game He is now pitching again against Braddock tommorow (Friday)
March 5, 200422 yr Belen update: Wolverines won today 6-1 against St Brendan in their first district game. Senior Joey Cunetta gave up a leadoff homer (which in all retrospect should have been a flyout, the wind was blowing out massively) and then proceeded to strike out the side and scatter 3 hits while striking out 10 in 6 1/3. Jorge Jordan came in to notch the first save of the year, ending the game on a 4-6-3 double play. Gaby Hernandez had a solid game, scoring one run and I believe driving in two. Next Game tomorrow at home vs McCarty, with Mario Garcia scheduled to start. Gaby is going to start Saturday's game at Westminster Academy.
March 5, 200422 yr Bobcat update: Boca beat Hallandale last night 10-0, jumping to 4-3. Cody Clinton went 0-4 (hit the ball hard right at people all four times) and saw his batting average drop below .500 for the first time this season.

What'd you do to get kicked out? Well, I was talking trash the whole game. English/Spanish mix, I thought it was nice. Regardless, when Eric popped out to end it "Andy Fox" (my name for their catcher) turned to the crowd (not in my direction though, because he was an idiot) and yelled "Who is talking now?". I'm not going to listen to stuff like that because I'm a general a**hole at sporting events, so I start talking trash back. The ump tells me (and I quote) "I'm going to have you escorted out if you don't shut up." So I just told him "Fine, I'll escort myself out" and I left with most of the students in the bleachers.
