So anyone that isn't a season ticket holder doesn't know anything and needs to be insulted. What does it matter how many games he attends. OOOO your a season ticket holder. That must make you better than everybody who isn't. JonnyLons has a point it is the first day of spring training he has time to improve. I guess I am a forum fan too though and so my opinion is dumb and wrong. Take it easy.

I think that he will surprise everybody with his numbers but lets just hope he dosent get arrested mid way through the season

:laughpurple :

Castro will be a home run monster! Redmond who?

Castro is a very good hitter no doubt. I really expect him to have a big year.... .275, 20-25 Homeruns, 75 RBI's. He is also very good defensively.

Just let him have one full season in the Majors and he will produce.

Castros weak arm is bothersome to say the least. Pudge's defense is what we will really miss, not his offense. The way he would snap-throw to third and first and his laser beam to second were beautiful. We just can't let anybody get on base. :thumbup

im gonna miss his 375 avg with runners in scoring posish, and of course his defense. But theres no doubt that castro can have better offensive numbers than pudge. he can easily surpass the 16 hrs ... i dont know about the 75 RBI's ... i say about 60-65

268 18 62 ... somewhere around there

I'm a little late here, but I wanted to respond to this.

Who do you think you are, BUD? Like Jonnylons, a poster with extreme credibility here at MB.com, said, it's only the first day of ST. Get the f*** over it. No scouting report or coach has ever said in his three years here that he has a weak arm. Nobody. In fact, I've heard the exact opposite in some cases. But there is no reason to take the first ST game of the season to the bank. C'mon now, be reasonable.

BUD?
