New Renderings
I actually really like this blue color for the seats. Orange? Absolutely not, at least for me. I really do like this blue color for the seats.

Who's going to the Groundbreaking?
I hope someone brings back pictures of the new renderings.

What would you like to see in the new stadium?
why the retrack roof, why not just a dome, why the hell would they ever want to open the roof in south florida?? Permanent domes are ugly as f**k. Baseball is an out door sport. At least on a nice and cool day the option is there to open the roof. But I am very happy the Marlins went with the retractable roof option and not some ugly as sh*t dome stadium.

Interior renderings?
Did it look anything like this? If so, then this is actually from the 2005 renderings when the plan was to have the Orange Bowl and the new Marlins stadium share a wall/superstructure. Wrong. The above rendering was from the proposal to have the ballpark on Bicentennial Park. It had nothing to do with the Orange Bowl as you mentioned above.

We must contact the Miami-Dade Commissioners
THis morning's Herald article counts Martinez as a NO and Heyman and Souto as undecided. Souto, who most have thought to be a NO is quoted as saying he's "really on the fence". Everyone, please contact him if you have not done so. http://www.miamiherald.com/591/story/901847.html Souto is a surprise, considering how he ripped up the the plan on the dais last time. Of course, last time the plan also included the tunnel and street car. We should then all call Souto at 305-375-4835. On Sally Heyman, wasn't she just quoted in an article a couple of days ago that she was voting NO. Now she is undecided? I don't get it. But her number is 305-375-5128.

I heard that Martinez will vote with whatever his poll finishes at by 9:00am tomorrow. Vote and delete your cookies and vote again. We have to win this one! Where did you hear this from?
