I don't remember exactly why the Yankees became so big in Cuba. Maybe the fact that so many Cubans would go to New York whenever they would leave Cuba for any particular reason. I'm not 100% sure though. in cuba if sombody owns a mlb hat,its a yanks hat. they jus t have yankee stuff there and its cuz most of cubans when fleeing from cuba back in teh day in non commy cuba wen to NY. then later from ny to miami. i th nk they onl y had radio of yankee games in cuba to and babe ruth went there to introduce baseball to cuba so ther es alot dood. but now is miami first then ny yanks for cubans
