  16. The Yankees were long the favorites of the Cuban people back in non-Communist Cuba. The Marlins have become the team of choice for Cubans in Miami, but it is a dual fanship- Yankees and Marlins. Most Cubans sided with the Marlins in the World Series, but they don't forget their past allegiance to the Yankees. Back in the day, when Cubans would visit the US and go to baseball games, they would go to Yankees-Red Sox games for two reasons: cheer on the Yankees and watch Ted Williams play (who was big in Cuba, I found out that he was a fishing friend of my great grandfather's, along with Ernest Hemingway). I don't remember exactly why the Yankees became so big in Cuba. Maybe the fact that so many Cubans would go to New York whenever they would leave Cuba for any particular reason. I'm not 100% sure though. in cuba if sombody owns a mlb hat,its a yanks hat. they jus t have yankee stuff there and its cuz most of cubans when fleeing from cuba back in teh day in non commy cuba wen to NY. then later from ny to miami. i th nk they onl y had radio of yankee games in cuba to and babe ruth went there to introduce baseball to cuba so ther es alot dood. but now is miami first then ny yanks for cubans

  18. Pubic Hair Loss after Childbirth I am three months postpartum. I also have existing thyroid problems, which I am being treated for. I know that hair loss is typical with thyroid problems and being postpartum. The thing is, I am not losing the hair on my scalp. My pubic hair has thinned out. I swear almost all of it is gone. The hair is not falling out in clumps, but is just thinning out. I do not understand what is going on. Erin Kelly Shanahan, M.D. Chair of the OB-GYN department at Barton Memorial Hospital in Lake Tahoe, Dr. Shanahan is a partner in Woman to Woman Health Care, a private medical practice. Hair everywhere on your body can be affected by pregnancy, or by thyroid imbalance for that matter. During pregnancy, large areas of hair may begin cycling together -- all growing at once, then all shedding at once. This could explain the generalized thinning of your pubic hair. Usually, the hair will revert to the normal pattern -- a few hairs growing here and a few hairs resting there and a few more hairs shedding -- within six months of delivery. http://www.ivillagehealth.com/experts/wome..._175518,00.html
  19. i dont shave my pubes obviously but u guys might want some advice so here s some doods SHAVE YOUR PUBIC HAIR? Dear Alice, I'm wondering about what happens to a man's pubic hair after you shave it off completely. Would the pubic hair be permanently shaven off or would it grow back? If it does grow back, would it become hairier than before, like beard growth? ---Curious -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Curious, Shaving your pubic hair is by no means permanent. As the hair starts to grow back, however, it can be very itchy and uncomfortable. If you only shave once, your hair usually grows similarly as before. While shaving any body part may seem to increase hair growth, which may appear more coarse, the number of hair follicles stays the same. What may have appeared to be increased hair growth when someone was maturing and beginning to shave was not due to shaving, but to normal growth and development. By the way, this applies to women as well. Alice

  21. Female fans style pubic hair like Beckham's Mohican By Shane Green, Herald Correspondent in Tokyo David Beckham wearing his Mohican haircut. Photo: Laurence Griffiths/ALLSPORT When David Beckham begins a brief visit to Japan today, he will see plenty of evidence of his rock star status: crowds of adoring fans; his Manchester United shirt on the backs of young Japanese; and the occasional bleached Mohican hairstyle he favoured during last year's World Cup here. But there is one sign of his fame that will not be so obvious. Japanese women are reportedly styling their pubic hair into a Beckham Mohican. The Shukan Jitsuwa, one of Japan's racy and creative weekly magazines, carried an article on the trend this year, saying the Beckham look was particularly popular among female office workers. "Some magazines have carried articles about styling your pubic hair and they referred to the Beckham look," the magazine quoted Minako, an office worker. "But we'd been doing it for a while before those stories came out." Even if the trend wasn't established then, it probably is now. The England captain is celebrated as a sex symbol who also happens to play soccer. Beckham is similarly idolised in other parts of Asia, including China and Thailand, but it is in Japan that the love affair with Beckham is the most intense. It blossomed a year ago when Japan was the co-host for the World Cup. While England fell in the quarter finals, Beckham has continued to kick goal after goal. Corporate Japan has lined up to secure his services. He is the face for Vodafone's mobile phone J-phone, and sells chocolates for the Meiji Seika company, which last December created a three-metre chocolate statue of him. Beckham and wife Victoria, the former Spice Girl, also feature in a advertising campaign for the Tokyo Beauty Centre, a contract reported to be worth 400 million yen (about $5 million) a year. The Beckham appeal is complex. Yuji Kiminami, who edited the Japanese version of the coffee table book David Beckham: My Life, believes there are two reasons for Beckham's massive popularity. "Beckham cherishes his family, and Japanese women like a man who takes good care of his wife and children," he said. "Japanese people also tend to admire British traditional culture, and books related to Britain sell well in the Japanese market. I think Beckham would not be as popular if he was American." Then there are his looks. "They are quite acceptable to Japanese people," Mr Kiminami said. "It is much easier for Japanese women to accept his moderately sexy appearance than Italian soccer player Francesco Totti, who is too sexy for Japanese women."
