ok, let me clarify more. gonzalez does a great job managing the players. he's mixed em well. but if it wasnt for beinfest we wouldnt HAVE the players. im just saying he's usually pretty good at picking them, so give julio a little time. and gonzalez would be crazy to move a proven player down the roster so fast. one week does not mean the guy is done.... as i recall todd jones blew like 3-4 straight saves for the tigers last year and they didn't dump him as the closer. they kept him there for the WORLD SERIES

you all turn on beinfest so fast. without beinfest's great moves this 30 million dollar payroll would be 1-5 not 4-2. jump on julio after a month not a week.

that was awesome to watch. when hanley goes we go. cabrera's a monster. and his name is uggla. great first game de aza. basically everyone looked good except borchard. willingham had some solid contact. fantastic game willis, amazing game pen. its just one game but happy to be off to a fun start.

Hey everyone, sorry this is coming in late but i was on spring break. i went to the marlins/o's game on wednesday and saw beinfest so i approached him late in the game after loria left. i asked about benitez and he said $8 million is a lot, so it doesnt sound like the giants want to pick up too much of his salary. also, i asked about CF. He said the d-rays aren't budging, but he likes sanchez out there. i agree. anyhow, sanchez is my pick for CF if we pick no one up. Actually the Giants said they would pick up all but $1mil of his salary. And Beinfest is obviously on shrooms if he likes Sanchez out in CF. i trust him. for the giants to pick up that salary they'd want a top pitcher. something he doesn't want to give up. makes sense. aging vet for one of our starting 5? i think not. and sanchez has looked the most impressive.

SORRY TO ALL. misread. thought it said LORIA and SAMSON. Beinfest is the one saving this team. My fault. I'd have gone and thanked him for his amazing abilities as GM then asked what he was doing wasting his time with the leprechaun.

i cant believe everyone is complaining. we had a bad trade, but we did get the salary off the books... money which is now going to cabrera and willis. and we got a ROOKIE ALL STAR 2nd baseman replacement that has a whole career ahead of him. luis was phenomenal. one of the best marlins ever.... but we're not doing to bad with what we got. one has nothing to do with the other if we still had castillo dan uggla would have never had his season.
