He's been told he's not putting his career on the line. He's also going to be reassessed 2-3 weeks from now, and then surely again before he attempts to play.

The team doctor, and Dr. Andrews said he could do no further damage to the shoulder.

I'm sure if he was threatening his career Mr Andrews would have told him so. I wish him luck in his rehab.

i probably would have preferred he fully heals than attempt a half-ass comeback but since he's a tough guy, it's not too surprising and i know he'll play his heart out.

coming from a guy who's team got beat in 4 straight...yeah...i think louie might be on to something...and last time i checked...basketball is played with your legs alot more than your shoulders...if this is a knee or ankle injury, yeah sure...see ya next year kid...but its his friggin shoulder...he will be fine

The injury can't get any worse by him attempting a comeback without surgery. That's all he needed to hear. I don't have a problem with him returning, but I hope he doesn't rush it.

Exactly, he isnt risking anything. Perhaps a little extra pain before surgery, but nothing major. He will be fine.
