Well, if it's symmetric to the two axiseses then it has symmetric with respect to the third. Ummm, ok..... In polar coordinates, my teacher says an equation can be symmetrical across "0,1, or 3 things" (polar axis, horizontal axis, pole), but not just 2 of them (only polar/horiz., polar/pole, pole/horiz.). I think that a parabola in the first quadrant (maybe with center at (1,1)), rotated 325 degrees on a cartisian plane, then transformed to polar form, will be symmetrical across polar and horizontal axises (sp?), but not the pole. Chewbacca can't be the only one here that knows what I'm talking about, can he? And it's not my goddamn homework!

I need help proving something..I had alot of free time this afternoon and tonight, so I decided to try and prove a theory wrong that my teacher told us in my pre-calculus class. It has to do with polar coordinates and symmetry. He says it can be symmetrical across "0,1, or 3" things (polar axis, horizontal axis, pole), but not just 2 of them (only polar/horiz., polar/pole, pole/horiz.). I think that a parabola in the first quadrant (maybe with center at (1,1)), rotated 325 degrees in "XY form", then transformed to polar form, will be symmetrical across polar and horizontal axises (sp?), but not the pole. I got stuck a little while ago, and I'm hoping one of my fellow math friends can help me.. Starting equation is Y= - (X - 1)squared + 1 for the regular parabola. I used rotation formulas to rotate it 325 degrees, got my messy equation, and attempted to change to polar form. A little afterwards, I realized I screwed up, and went back a few steps, only to mess up again..So, my question to you is: Can you prove this? Good luck! If you don't get it, don't reply. :cool

Hmm..I probobly have it somewhere on my computer. I'm pretty sure I have all BIGs and Pacs songs... I really, really doubt that. I have Ready To Die, Life After Death, Born Again, and like 2 others by BIG..Maybe I don't have all of BIGs stuff, but I'm willing to bet you I have all Pac's..

That diss was weak and idiotic, Cam has a lot of sh*t he doesn't want people to see and if Jay-Z feels like coming back, Cam's reputation will take a downfall. "Killa" Cam ain't that good at all, Hova would deff. murder him if he wanted to. I just thought it was interesting how he showed all the lines he stole. But let's keep the thread on topic... All I really liked from him was Juicy and One More Chance. I liked the first verse off of Hold Ya Head on Duets too.

So I walk in the house from hockey tonight and take a quick shower. I walk out, grab a couple slices of my yummy free pizza (we get the pizza that wasn't sold at skate sessions), and sit down in front of the TV. About 5 minutes later, I saw a BIG cloud of smoke go across the hall, so I ran out to see what it was. I see the pizza box burning on the stove. I pick it up to bring it outside, and it flared up, and I started running. I threw the box outside, and dumped like 5 cups of water on it. I went back and saw the friggin stove on. WTF? I have no idea who turned it on, and everyone said it wasn't them. It's really wierd. Anyway, my house smells like smoke, and my room worse (we think it travelled through the AC ducts). I think that if I hadn't got that urge for a slice of pizza, nobody would have seen the smoke and the house could have caught on. My mom was in her room, my dad sleeping, brother was watching TV, but he was out of view of everything. It was quite scary for a few moments. But we are all OK, and attempting to sleep with the smell of smoke heavy in the air. What a day..

My neighbor played for FSU a few years back...Ross Brannon And he's good friends with Paul Irons. I used to know Dan Marino well before we moved. I know a bunch of seniors on their way to college to play sports too, but that's not relavent now, is it?
