Ayala they say will be back right after the all-star break...but with the Expos training staff and how they have predicted injuries this year(Armas and El Duque and Day all started it out as minor arm injuries...and all went under the knife for torn rotator cuffs or labrums shortly after), I will believe it when I see it

Don't worry...Penny owns the Spos, the Spos have like 3 and half hitters in their lineup right now. Penny will dominate tonight. Vazquez will implode and frustrate like he always does...probably by giving up 2 homers to Pierre and 1 to Penny, while he keeps guys like Lowell and Pudge in check.

why do the Giants want him? Worrell has been excellent for them.

Youk plays mostly 3B. Sanchez would replace Castillo for you guys next year. I'd pick Sanchez If I were the Fish...he fits a need. Youk does not. oh and that trade is a steal for you guys....the Sox/Dodgers had apparently worked out a Perez for Nixon deal but the Dodgers backed out so Nixon appears to be available and Theo wants a starter who is still young.

The only good thing that park had (at least from 1994 to 1997) was the really cute ushers (those girls in the red blazers) that would keep people from going to the "blue" seats. Some of those girls were beautiful (Montreal has BEAUTIFUL WOMEN :w00t :w00t :w00t ). :thumbup :shifty

Expo are you somehow saying that Olympic is a good stadium? I've been in it and I just hated it! It's dirty of course and I want to know how it even got The Good Olympic name, The Stadium just sucks. No. I know the Big Owe sucks big time, I was just wondering if the people who replied to the thread had seen some of the stadiums they were bashing.

How many of you have actually seen more than one stadium?... tough to make comments on stadiums you have never seen, no?

We can beat Livan and former Marlins Vargas. Vazquez is tough no doubt, but I like our chances with Penny against him, due to his career stats VS the Expos... Vazquez is not that tough anymore. He only cares about his stats(strikeouts), doesn't come up big in big games, gives up tons of long balls and hits to the pitchers. He hasn't pitched into the 8th inning all year.. Livan and Vargas are alot tougher to beat right now.

You guys should win 2 of 3...but sweeping the spos will be tough since you will have to beat all 3:Vazquez/Livan/Vargas

The Expos have half their staff injured, no Vlad and of course the typical sh*tty luck they always have. going against Penny(who ALWAYS pitches great against the Spos), Redman and Beckett/Willis...they have almost no chance to win the series. Heck, they will be lucky to win one game.
