Not necessarily but even if so, those are two extremes about your best hitters and your worst hitters. Hitting coaches can make a huge difference for all those middle of the pack hitters who can improve with better coaching or who could be negatively affected by bad coaching.

Just my opinion but I think we needed more runs and that was the hitting coaches fault.

Wild that people want the Marlins coaches for once and crazy that they want Brown when the Marlins offense was still underwhelming.

Seems like Brown did well here and several players liked what he brought and I heard their preparation was elevated but obviously the offense was still lacking so I can't hate the idea of someone else giving it a shot as our hitting coach. Would have been OK with Brownie staying, glad he wasn't fired, but also can't complain that he's getting a better gig.

Only for you

Yes

Snitker 8 first place votes, 2 for 2nd place, 3 for 3rd place Skip got 8 first place votes, 8 2nd place votes, and 8 3rd place votes

Exactly... but apparently Snitker got the same number of 1st place votes as Skip so I dunno.

I agree with you but the explanation is that keeping a great team great all year long is a reflection on the manager especially considering how many supposedly great teams can't live up to expectations. So I see that side of it but I'm with you that a team that is expected to succeed shouldn't get the manager of the year award. While Snitker is great plenty of managers could do what he did with the team he has.

This is actually genius. We might be able to actually win some trades with the Rays for once.

I bet it was like 5 people with angry tweets but you feel like it's the entire city of Miami going crazy.

Too late for that. Bendix had a whole week to get that done already and apparently it's now too late to get it done.

You and him in the same tent?

Does she play Little Red Riding Hood?

WHAT MOVIE IS THIS??????

There's also several things that are literally priorities because of calendar deadlines... 40 man roster stuff, tendering or non tendering contracts, rule 5, etc... Arraez is on the team in 2024 with or without an extension, it doesn't need to be the priority right now.

Because that's the truth. There's a million things going on for Bendix right now and an extension for Arraez is in no way a priority right now. That can wait a bit. I also think those questions in the presser were stupid because they're basically asking Bendix to tell the public what he is and isn't working on right now and I don't think any of that needs to be public knowledge, for multiple reasons. Let the guy do his job first and when things need to be made public they will be.

I watched the whole presser and man people have such stupid questions. You get this chance to get these people in front of you and you can finally ask them something big and people just ask the dumbest shit. Would be hilarious if the responses could be what Bendix and others are really thinking to answer deep down.

Bendix himself said it both on that show and on MLB Network. Nice of him to flat out admit it.

Holy shit this actually makes too much sense and now I don't know what to think.

I heard Bendix talk on MLB Network and on Kyle Sielaff's show last week and I like that he basically said that all his answers on what has to be done are just canned answers that every organization always gives and that it was more about just getting the job done. I liked that approach because everyone does regurgitate the same lines.

He went out on top.
