Not trying to pick a fight here, but come on people and get real. Ramp is wrong, his "contacts" or "friends", that he has relied on have never been right in the past and most likely will not be in the future. Even if they are today (which they aren't): Palmeiro is over the hill and his power numbers would severly decline at the Pro. De Rosa is nothing more than a backup-utility player, now and forever. He is nothing. Marquis has been nothing more than a dissappointment with a questionable heart and fire for the game. He is nothing special. The Rangers are looking to dump payroll, not add and to pick up all of Palmeiro's salary even to get a young pitcher like Penny would not be a very realistic move. Get real, these trades don't even make us better.

We should try some double steals. It would be pretty cool and exciting and could work. Castillo has not been sent as much as he should be!

There are 5 RF with better numbers than Vlad right now, however, would you not put him in the top 5 RF in the game? hey Rune, 2000 was Luis Castillo's best year...not last year... Boone was unreal in 2001, but last year he fell off a little...he seems to have gotten his stroke back, but for how long? dont say Spivey can hit in the 20's because he has never done that yet and I'll wait for Marcus Giles to have a good full season...not just 2months+ What Ramp said!
