You put Position Players into Pitch (Pudge ) The teams were out of players. The position players had already all been in the game.

The Florida Marlins and small market teams are good for this great game. Teams like the Angels and Marlins winning the World Series is great for the future of the sport. It proves that we are doing some good things in terms of making the game competitive for all. And as far as the All Star game a couple years back, what else did you want me to do? Both teams were out of pitchers, so we made efforts to ensure that will not occur again. as we work to make revenue sharing even better than it has been, expect this to become the norm as teams become competitive and it will be up to the teams to ensure whether they are competitive or not.
  5. All 4 of these organizations are class organizations and deserve an opportunity for the World Series. They all have something special and as long as the fans continue to support their teams, we will continue to grow as a sport in many ways.
  6. Its all a cyclical process. There are times when homeruns are hit in great numbers and certain players put up amazing numbers. There are times when we enter pitching dominating eras. That is the beautiful thing about this great game, eras change seemingly overnight. As far as our drug testing policies, I do not think they have had much of an effect, as we have not had anyone test positive for steroids this year. Baseball is truly a great sport and I am proud to be representing this wonderful game and doing such great things for it, especially in these times of labor peace.
  7. Congratulations to the Florida Marlins franchise and their fans. I always knew this organization was primed for something special and I truly do hope that the fans continue to come out and support their team in this playoff run. They truly are an exciting team to watch and a team that is good for baseball.
  8. We do this for our fans, especially our younger fans. Everyone loves music.
  9. We here at MLB will do all we can to preserve Dodger Stadium, like we do with all great, historic stadiums.
  10. Folks, Enjoy tonight's game. We all hope its a wonderful game.
  11. I hope all of you enjoy the all star game tonight. The changes we have implemented are for you the fans. Please enjoy.
