you gotta look for good music and not rely on the radio and mtv its out there just dont expect it to be handed to you. No sh*t. I just like the late 70's, early 80's stuff a lot more. I mean, I understand there's good stuff out there. And you do have to look. I like a couple current bands. However, during my parents generation it wasn't emberassing to say you listened to pop music. But, still 90% of radio play sucks. I don't watch Mtv so that's not the problem. And it's been awhile since I've heard a really good full album from anybody. I just think the industry isn't geared for that anymore. Where someone does a complete album. It's all about getting those hits on there and then going through the motions the rest of the album (some do it better than others). You've got a good point, about it our "parent's generations" pop music actually being really good. But man, I'm getting sick of people saying sh*t like "MUSIC IS DEAD lol" and "OMG NO GOOD MUSIC IS AROUND NO MOREZ BRB". There's plenty of great music, you're just looking in the wrong places. Call me crazy, but I don't expect to see Paris Hilton on MTV Spring Break talking about the latest Bjork album.

According the someone that subcribes to fundamental creationism, they would say that the Earth is less than 20,000 years old. It doesn't say anywhere in the Bible how old the Earth is, because Moses wrote the Torah back then and not in 2006. You know, at least science can actually give a rational reason for why they think the world is the way it is and they can account for it with evidence. These theodicies about the earth being only 20,000 years and old Dinosaurs being a "trick" are just foolish. If we have a reliable source of evidence that contradicts some crazy religion claim NOT based on anything reliable, then you've almost got to go with science. I don't know it's ever been the case that personal faith has ever defeated scientific evidence. Which is why it's stupid to even consider creationism being taught in schools (see: Flying Spaghetti Monster for more on that). Because it's a lot of biased, ignorant parents letting their religious convictions interfere with their kids education. You act like the majority of Christians are strictly fundamentalist creationists.
