i never saw any of the game today but hoppers line glared out at me he has done an ok job as a marlin but considering the slump we are in over the past week and with the prospect of facing webb-haren-owings next week, do i feel the calling up of volsad is imminent to provide a spark and get us back to winning ways? No chance. If anything Waechter will take The hopper's spot.

I would have to agree with the lock Uggla talks. Uggla can play 3rd base. Mind you, he played it a bit in the minors. Then Coghlan can be brought up. Everyone is happy. Uggla has been rakin' since he's been with us and brings us straight up power as well as a pretty good defensive glove. You guys would be nuts to not consider locking him up long term. He's a solid solid 2B with potential to play 3rd.

This is crazy. Hopper needs some time in AAA me thinks. I like the kid, but he's inconsistent. Yes, our defense is partially to blame... but still.

Honestly, what do you think about a 3 year 10 million dollar contract for Dan Uggla. I think he will take it and it will give us a solid 2B for 3 years minimum. At 3.3 mill a year, it wont kill our cap either.

Olsen at 59 pitches. If he goes 7 here and allows 4 runs it would still be a decent outing with subpar stuff today. Showing some maturity on his part.
