Game 3 - Back to the Teal OK Corral!
We were lucky on that busted double-play. Don't think we got him at first.

Game 3 - Back to the Teal OK Corral!
Shall I tell you about the first three pitches to A-Gon? ESPN was busy doing a fluff interview with David Cassidy. What crap!

Game 3 - Back to the Teal OK Corral!
Thank God for our radio announcers. These ESPN announcers are driving me nuts. What TV garbage!

WQAM reports Lowell starting...
Wouldn't be surprised to see Cabrera running for Mike in the 7th.

WQAM reports Lowell starting...
2:45 p.m. WQAM reports Lowell starting at 3rd, batting 6th. (Guess I got out of the breakfast prize deal!)

Friday Line-Up Prize!
LCastillo. Receiived. Looking good. As long as Lowell doesn't start.

Friday Line-Up Prize!
Winner determined by posting time herein. Directions provided promptly. Losers, I like the home-made waffles and sausages.

Friday Line-Up Prize!
First one to post today's line-up gets free breakfast at world-famous Boynton Beach Diner (my compliments). Unless Lowell starts. Then, I win , you lose.

Example of a Good Radio Deal
WIOD for Marlins! Besides my disdain for WQAM, WIOD comes in better in Palm Beach County. Trust they would carry pre and post-game Boog and Dave sessions. Only QAM keeper is Ed Kaplan. He's sober.

Double Switch in the Eighth
Double switch in the eighth was by the book. But, McKeon could have chosen Mordy or Fox instead of Lowell. If he was worried about Mike (and Mike's hand), he wouldn't have jeopardized him in that Marlins "win" situation. I expect to see Mike starting the next game. Surprised I didn't see any follow-up to Mike's statement that, after his last regular season start, his left hand felt "weak" after the sixth inning. Understandable... and I'm sure he is being watched closely. I think Mike will have the call on starting the next game and will tell Jack if his left hand starts to feel "weak" because he wants to be 100% for the World Series.

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
Good to see Pudge going to the mound.

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
I'll take that 1-2-3 with no K's anytime!

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
Don't expect him to come up with another 3 K inning, but IMO Penny being on base last inning could help him. He won't over-throw in a jam. He's more relaxed now.

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
Unbelievable. 3 K's.

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
A-Gon was robbed by Bonds. But, I still think he is going to be a hero in this series. His stroke is good (but he pulls his head like a bad golfer.)

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
Peeny with a K. Feel like I'm listening to Giant's homie announcers!

Marlins vs Giants---Game 2---4:06 at Pac Bell
Pudge pops out. But, I loved the stare in his eyes. Just like Enc yesterday.

Retrospect...Prospect
Thought in second inning that we were going to get to Jason Schmidt. Didn't happen. Beckett was great. Cabs didn't blow the game (freaky play, normally Lee would have picked or at least blocked that ball but runner was in the way.) In his (albeit short) career, Cabs has made that play before. With all due respect to Schmidt, I understood the smart-assed reporter that said the Marlins "left their bats at home." Today, I don't want to just win. I want to punish the Giants and let them come to PPS with their tails between their legs. We are going to win this series! Better depth on bench and in pen and an indomitable attitude! Resounding question in Giant's sad clubhouse tonight: "Penny for your thoughts?" Get 'em Brad.

Ch. 7 jumps at chance to air Marlins
Very interesting. Thanks. Many of us on Cable in Palm Beach County can get Miami Channel Seven by disconnecting the cable and hooking-up rabbit ears. Comes in fine.

Today's Palm Beach Post sports section is a keeper.

Establish LINK?
You did it. Thank you very much.

Establish LINK?
Not very computer literate. Can someone go into my "Roster Announced" posting and set up my Sun-Sentinel citation as a LINK? Think it would help others. Thanks. Arnie

Nine bucks for a Play-Off game
McMillan, you joined this forum on Sept 19th and have only negatives to offer. Try three sentences to back up your opinon. Otherwise you are persona non grata. Personally, I think you are a ringer from outer space.
