Article comparing Marlins and Giants
holley is a dumbass You joined the forum Sept 19th and have never said anything but negatives. Keep it up, you will soon be persona non grata. Try a few sentences to back up what you are saying.

POST-SEASON MERCHANDISE
I have plenty of Marlins shirts and hats. I want a MarlinsBaseball.com shirt to hook up with other forum members. I understand that RAMP wants to buy me a beer!

Nine bucks for a Play-Off game
center field/ RF 100 level seats in 1997 for NLDS in pps was 11.50 for me.. upper deck was probably 9 bucks or maybe even less. SIX YEARS AGO.

Designated Awards (sounds like AL)
Yeah, but this works. I think it works. I forgot about the pitcher Jack Armstrong. In the early 50's there was a popular radio show called "Jack Armstrong, All American Boy!" He was just like you. Solved all problems!

Designated Awards (sounds like AL)
Thought you were only kidding about the "Jack Armstrong Award." In fact, I was about to say something complimentary about your sense of humor. Still... not a bad name. Charlie Hough would have been better. But, it was taken.

Designated Awards (sounds like AL)
Renamed it to the Jack Armstrong Award now to avoid confusion. \Good. I have trouble with confusion.

Designated Awards (sounds like AL)
Thank you. But, why do we have two awards with the same name? Why not call it the MarlinsBaseball.com Best Pitcher Award and get some press for the presntation.

Designated Awards (sounds like AL)
There is an award for the player with best Media/PR relations. Thought Looper won that. Thought it was the Charlie Hough Award. I'm confused now with the posted Charlie Hough Award poll. Help, please.

Get ready to pay more
Pay. MLB sets the prices (I don't know who gets the excess, good question). This may be once in a life-time for us. First time we bought it, this time we earned it!

Jack Armstrong Award (Best Pitcher) for 2003
Which award goes to player with best Media PR? Think Looper won that. Which one was it?

Marlins Fever
Nice article. Thanks. But, as a frequent visitor to Cocoa, Florida Today has a terrible sports section and no Marlins coverage. Guess they're on the bandwagon, too.

How will we do in the series?
I think about potential heroes. I come up with nine plus a pitcher and McKeon. We'll blow them out in four.

Marlins Season Video Recap...
Favorite Marlin moment for me... Mike Redmond on first and scores on a hit... flopping, exhausted, on the home dish! Classic. Team reaction was great.

Nine bucks for a Play-Off game
Nine bucks for (an upper deck) play-off ticket. Now, there's a nice fan appreciation gift! Let's go. Make it SRO. (I'm buying some tickets for friends and family. Deal is they have to pay for Wayne's parking. Matter of principle.)

Fish of the Year 2003
Lot of guys got 100% of their great potential. JP got 110%!

Boycott WQAM
I'm about to be on 560 right now. Will be interested in your report. Used to listen to QAM all day. Then they put on a couple of shock jocks, I didn't need that nonsense. That left me with the arrogant fat-butt Hank Goldberg. Suffice it to say, I don't listen anymore unless I left it on to hear the Marlins pre-game show. (And Eddie K is okay, but his main interest is staying awake.)

Boycott WQAM
Hey Arnie, Your lovely WJNA 640 (which covers all of South Florida with it's great signal) is trying to upgrades it's tower and signal. They want to move the tower to near the Palm Beach-Broward-Hendry County Border and pump up power from 7500 watts day/500 watts nights to 25000 watts day/night Possible new Marlins flagship? With that signal they can replace WQAM and WWCN all with one signal. WJNA comes in strong in Palm Beach County. Just wish they would broadcast the pre-game show.

Boycott WQAM
QAM's post game was disgusting. For example, Lowell got a hit, big deal, it was against a Met's pitcher. And "Anybody could have managed this team." These guys really suck. The Flagship. They make me puke.

Jumpin' Jupiter
You get the t-shirts (and you should make a couple bucks on each) and I will recommend two sections (adjoining, but one cheaper than the other). We have some good guys tracking the minors and Spring Training. I'll just suggest how and where to meet with our MarlinsBaseball.com uniforms.
-
Jumpin' Jupiter
Premature. Maybe not. Everybody's hot now. Sure it would be too "unwieldy" for us to get a section in Jupiter for Spring Training. But, how about marlinsbaseball.com t-shirts and a suggestion which section we can congregate in. It's going to be a helluva Spring. And Jupiter is great. Just a thought for this long winter. (p.s. Has to be some Teal in the t-shirt!)

Lowell playing third, batting third
I think A-Gon just passed Kurt Abbott as Marlins all-time HR hitting shortstop!

Remember When...
Good article! Thanks WC.

Lowell playing third, batting third
Good to see that Lowell made some contact. Was great to hear the fans applaud when he hit a foul ball!

Lowell playing third, batting third
Conine in, Cabrera day off. (Mordy playing second.)

Lowell playing third, batting third
Mike is in the line-up today. I'm still waiting to see who has the "day off." Cabrera since he played yesterday? Has anyone heard yet?
