listening to Gammons last night on BBTN was REFRESHING. He was acutally calling Lowell a "hero to south Florida" and that "they probably won't deal him." It was a nice change of pace from the "Who's going to get Lowell" talk. Gammons is a joke. A week ago he strongly (in a table pounding manner) stated that Lowell trade to the Cubs before the trade deadline was innevitable. I hope he is right this time, stating that Lowell is here to stay. I'll agree he is a joke most of the time, he is in the Media. In being so, he needs to be the first one to break the trade (any trade) IF it happens. So he and others in his circle will always teeter on the brink of saying its about to happen. They are also quick to backtrack too when the trade looks unlikely (lowell). The media does report facts but they report way more rumors, Why? So you and I will watch and then bit#$ about it!

I'll check it out. Have to get it mailed to Cracky though. I love dw but im not down for the drive just yet

Caught the last 5 innings of the topes game last night, U-G-L-Y. Vlad started (why??) and sucked, wheres Oswaldo gave up 7 runs in the fifth to suck. The pitching down here has not impressed me at all this season. A few good starts from Sanders and Wayne (and I mean a FEW from Wayne) and thats about it. Strat did hit #27 though! Take that Delgado!! by the way, topes lose 17-9 in the longest game of the season

You have to give him time to grow in the bigs. He may not be tearing the cover off the ball but he's not playing horribly by any means. He's given this team a spark just like DW has and he's only going to get better. He is definately going to have growing pains but he'll be fine.

Everybody was busy doing inventory crap and I'm glued to the tv in the corner just screaming my a** off! IT was great.
