Garcia is definitely solid but he was all over the place today. Impressed that he was able to work through it. He will sit 91-93 as a starter whereas last season he was 93-95 as a reliever. Need to keep getting guys back from the DL. And for the love of god can we please not use Ziegler in high leverage situations anymore? Couldn’t even preserve the shutout.

What the fuck with Cooper going on the 60-day? Was looking forward to Cooper getting regular at bats. Tough for him but more great medical work by the Marlins. I also love how Riddle was guaranteed for Opening Day and yet we haven’t heard a word in weeks.

Yeah they can go fuck themselves. He’s a building block. I think if the Marlins can get healthy and get the bullpen in order they can be competitive this season. Certainly not firing on all cylinders.

We certainly do need Straily, Realmuto, Riddle, Cooper and Prado back ASAP. Really demoralizing that we had two games right there for the taking and we let the Mets step on us. So now that’s two extra inning losses and three blown saves in 12 games. The team is battling but they are fucking up when it really counts.

In the span of 11 games the Marlins have already given up runs in the first inning 6 times, have lost a 10 inning game, lost a 13 inning game, and then managed to blow two saves in the 6th and 8th and give up the lead in the 9th. Another good start to the season.

Another really tough loss. We had several chances to score more runs and gifted the Mets a run with that error. Brinson looks completely overmatched. Obviously thinking too much because he was having much better at bats earlier.

Nice win to avoid the sweep. If Richards is going to have any kind of success in the major leagues he’s going to have to do a significantly better job of locating. Throws way too many hittable strikes.

Changeup and fastball are certainly mediocre.

Peters just looks like he’s trying to guide the ball. Changeup needs a ton of work and the curveball control too. I hope Mattingly laces into them big time after this one.
