  2. they call me affirmitive action
  3. Yale is a fantastic school and hopefully this troubled young man doesnt really attend it. my greatest days where spent at that fine institution. go ahead and mock Pubes beinfest but leave my Yale alone... BTW those Warton breezies loved my Continental :thumbup
  4. in my college years the finest biotches all attended Warton, it was a long drive but once the Continental made it to the gate the ladies knew what whas happening... even future lawyers need a good time. :thumbup
  5. exactly Ramp, it was a loong journey when me and my cracker friends had to find some breezies. i guess Mr Beinfest forgot that the she males dont count...
  6. i majored in marketing, you should look into it. you can use the education for your long future of bagging groceries at the market...
  7. P. Beinfest, what are you majoring in? i recently graduated from Yale and i wanted to know what you think about it?
  8. there is a rumor going around that we may see a reunion of Temple Of The Dog ( Pearl Jam + Cris Cornell of audioslave and other seatle rock legends ). i was a bigger Nirvana fan but i still really liked pearl jam, i may have to pick up the dvd.
  9. basically we kept Tejerable on the roster the whole season why not give it a shot. if he REALLY sucks send him back.
  10. i dont have the EXACT numbers but is is relativley cheap. something around 100k if you return the player and if he works out or gets injured you can keep him. go look at some stats by a guy named Aqualino Lopez for the Blue Jays. he was a Rule V pick last season and ended up becoming the closer.
  11. more spectacular writing by the inmates @ ESPN.crap
  12. Marlins GM Admin Beinfest hasn't yet been given his final budget, but he assures anyone and everyone that he is keeping that pitching together, and teams that think they're going to steal A.J. Burnett because he's arbitration eligible and unlikely to pitch until June probably had better look elsewhere. Derrek Lee clearly is going to be traded, with the Orioles standing at the head of the line, with the D-Backs, Giants and others involved. The Phish want to try to get Luis Castillo re-signed, then determine whether or not they can keep Mike Lowell, which is unlikely. After getting Scott Boras' first request for Ivan Rodriguez, the Marlins seem to be inclined to turn the page. We'll see where the market goes on that one. Here Is The Full Article He keeps on with that Lowell BS...
  13. We are tied 12-12 this is a race... VOTE!

  16. who writes this crap? credit - ESPN.com news services - WTF?
  17. Saturday, November 22, 2003 ESPN.com news services MIAMI -- The world champion Marlins are trying to keep their team intact. But it will take some work to keep Ivan Rodriguez in the fold. The Marlins say they are making progress in negotiations with free-agent third baseman Mike Lowell and second baseman Luis Castillo, but are not close to re-signing their All-Star catcher, general manager Admin Beinfest told reporters during a conference call on Friday. Rodriguez is reportedly looking for a five-year, $50 million deal -- which isn't close to the maximum two-year, $15 million offer that sources tell the Miami Herald the Marlins are prepared to give. ''What Pudge's expectations and goals are on a multiyear contract do not fit with our allocation or our payroll operating range right now,'' Beinfest said. "Things can change on both ends. But, as of right now, that's where it sits.'' ''We're waiting for them to make an offer,'' agent Scott Boras told the Herald. "They're the employer. The only thing I've said to Admin is that Pudge had a very good year and we expect a multiyear offer." Boras told the newspaper he didn't expect to talk with the Marlins again until after Thanksgiving. Beinfest said Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria has given him a ''payroll range'' with which to build next season's roster. Keeping the entire roster intact would cost close to $90 million -- far more than the $50 million the Marlins started last season with. "That word [dismantling]will probably not be associated with what we're doing given the payroll operating range we're working with right now," Beinfest said. "I think you're going to see large parts of this team return that are going to be important to our competitiveness." One way to trim payroll may be to trade veteran outfielder Derrek Lee. The Orioles have expressed interest in trading for him. Rodriguez, Castillo and Lowell all played major roles in Florida's run to the title. However, while Rodriguez starred in the postseason, Castillo struggled and Lowell had a limited role due to the fact that he was coming back from an injury Lets add up the mistakes: FREE AGENT Mike Lowell OUTFIELDER D Lee $90million to keep the team intact ( it was $80million last week ) did i miss anything?
