I think Greece had a good run in the UEFA Euro champ in 2004 and it would be nice to seem them rebound after that run (even though it was more luck than anything). Also, I have a lot of doubt in France (unless they get Ireland) because they just have not been playing well this past year.

Damn i had so much fun on saturday... hawks pulled out another one to get to 6-0. Big game @ wisconsin next week Tough thing for teams like Miami, Iowa, Cincinnati, TCU etc... is that it will be hard for them to get much higher. They will need some teams to lose who probably won't lose and the matches they have a shot to lose are against other Top 10 teams and it wont cause too much movement.

The difference about this Red Sox team compared to their WS winning teams of a few years ago is the lack of the dynamic duo of Manny and Big Papi in the middle of the lineup. Yeh I know Jason Bay is a good hitter and they do still have Ortiz but he is considerably worse than he used to be, so there isn't the same fear factor for opposing pitchers when they face Boston. and beckett has had his ups and downs since 07 as well. I still think bullpen pitching has been the biggest problem. They started off great and were horrible down the stretch. and Papelbon has been getting worse each year. He has still pulled out a lot of saves, but not as easy as before. When you get to the playoffs with a hungry team his luck eventually runs out. Ramon Ramirez also fell apart in game 1 to hurt one of their more reliable relievers.

I think I will be skipping the Red Sox for football today. I can go back and forth but mostly football probably. I will not be ducking the MLB playoffs for the Raiders getting slaughtered by the Giants even though I like the Giants. And KC v. Dallas? I couldn't care less. After seeing the early games, playoffs are better.

Only saw a bit of the 1st half but that sounded a dramatic finish in the Argentina match, who beat Peru 2-1, and maybe saved Maradona's job. Arengtina isn't safe yet. They have a tough final match vs. Uruguay and there are two not so great results. Lose to Uruguay and go to the playoff or lose and Ecuador stels a win from Chile and they are staying home.
