  1. I think Matt Ryan deserves a spot, but more so than that...HOW THE HELL can they leave John Abraham off the roster..... John Abraham - 15.5 sacks (3rd in the NFL)(#1 for DE) Pro Bowl starters- Julius Peppers 12.5 sacks and Justin Tuck 12.0 sacks Pro Bowl backup- Jared Allen 14.5 when you add in the fact that Abraham has also battled injurys this season, and got 3 sacks last sunday while playing part time due to injurys.
  2. The way I see this playing out is, the Peavy deal is still dead. I think we deal Kelly Johnson to either Pit for Paul Maholm or to STL in a deal for Ankiel or Ludwick. As for pitching, I think we are very interested in Kenshin Kawakami from Japan or my personal preference, Oliver Perez. With Martin Prado on the bench with Matt Diaz and others I think we have plenty of depth there and should be able to make a good push this season. Forgot about Zach Grienke, hes another pitcher option for us. Would probably cost at least Escobar. They were talking about Kelly Johnson or Escobar but either way, we have Furcal now and Prado so we can deal either.
  3. That would be weird if the Braves got back two of their former players (Furcal and Oliver Perez) in the same offseason. Oliver Perez never played with the Braves, you are most likely thinking of Odalis Perez

  6. I like Lillebridge, and think he has a bright future, but we have Yunel Escobar and Martin Prado along with a few other guys who could step in. As much as I like Jo Jo Reyes, I do not see him becoming a very good pitcher in the ML. Not sure who the third "top prospect" is yet, my opinion on this deal will most likely be determined by who it turns out to be. As for Vasquez, I believe he will do very well in the NL, he is an innings eater and will pair very nicley with our young gun Jair Jurrjens and hopefully AJ Burnett or Derek Lowe.
  7. Make sure when you trade McNabb, you get a good backup QB for Peytons bye week and incase he gets hurt.
  8. the bad part...McCann hitting 5th lol
  9. Rip Skip you will be missed.
  10. cliff lee and dempster are aces i gottem on my team agreed, I would take Dempster first though...better team and better pitcher
  11. Its gotta be Laffey.
