let me solve this riddle real quick for everyone...stop watching espn...if they start losing ratings and money from the rest of the country, they will eventually stop the red sox/yankees/mets knob slobbing when it costs them money i am cause its gettin ridiculous! were just as much in it as phillies or mets

as much as i keep hearing on these threads about how uggla sucks i refuse to believe he's a bad player. somethings bothering him whether it be ASG, overworked/tired, or changed mentality at the plate. this is not the same uggla us marlins fans are used to seeing! He doesn't suck. He just came back to Earth. ya but just cause a guys overacheiving doesnt mean hes supposed to be playing worst, maybe hes just not making the adjustments. That's why he was overachieving, in the first place. Pitchers HAVE made adjustments...and Dan Uggla hasn't (he never really has). Uggla is an all or nothing hitter, and those types of players can carry you for some time, and they can also go on major slumps. ya ur right if he could adjust to the off speed he would be a way more productive hitter

and it all started with uggla......both uggla and pinto have g2 go if you where the manager would you send uggla down as a message? Of course not. What message would that send him? that he sucks.... He doesn't suck, he's just in a long slump. He's an all-star and one of the best hitting second basemen in all of the MLB. If he sucks, then I guess Jacobs, Willingham, Hermia, Baker, Ross, Amezaga, etc. all suck too. Sending him down would make him furious. first off hes one of the best power hitting second basemen NOT hitting !!! and secondly who cares if it makes him mad, its not his team its fredi's! and sometimes getting sent actually helps look at brett myers, liriano, francour!!!

alright im not saying the marlins are out of it, but they just dont show the desire to win that they showed in the first half of the season and it sucks cause if we would have played the way we did in the first half we'd be in first place right now

I think acquiring an eighteen year old to be your catcher of the future has disaster written all over it if the price is a major league hitter who will conceivably hit 30 homeruns this season. And yes I know the Marlins drafted a high school catcher this summer so I'm not ignoring that the front office thinks otherwise. I'll be happy to be wrong on all counts. ya hes only 18 but hes already in AA so hes on his way up! but i dont think the yanks will trade him because of how short they are on catching

we dont have many catching prospects so i was thinking about this trade this offseason sending mike jacobs to the yankees for catching prospect jesus montero. hes only 18 and hes gonna be a good power hitter! what do u think?
