  1. Cool text arrow. I thought it looked like a mushroom cloud.
  2. Republicans aren't supposed to have hearts, don't you watch the news? Funny how that works
  3. Alone I sit in my room by CRRaysHead90 Alone I sit in my room, the same as the night before. The feeling of loneliness envelopes me, The ability to find someone special eludes me. As I sit alone again I ponder where it went wrong. What I would give to dance with her one last song, What I would give to have her by my side. But alas fate does not abide. Alone I sit in my room again, Is love not mine to gain? Alone I sit in my room, I hope this loneliness ends soon.
  4. MLB Network Radio tweeted: Former MLB Umpire supervisor Jim McKean tells us that the infield fly rule was "the right call" tune in after the game to hear from him.
  5. I've seen some pretty horrible calls. But that one takes the damn cake. HORRIBLE!
  6. back on topic, found this on MLB.com comments about the firing: Twas still months before Christmas in the Sox locker room, All the players had gone home, the air filled with gloom. The uniforms which had been worn with such care, Lay in filthy dark piles, just thrown everywhere. And on top of this stack of disposable things, Sat Bobby the Sox erstwhile puller of strings. The scowl on his face told the whole awful story, As he pondered a season all had hoped would bring glory. But with negatives building up day after day, He wondered aloud if he'd outlived his stay. And though BV had not been a pitcher or hitter, He awaited his doom checking Facebook and Twitter. And when finally NESN delivered his fate, Starting a new managerial debate, Number 25's voice was heard one last time, As he made his sad way through the dirt and the grime. Leaving his jersey and cap on a shelf, "None of this was my doing, so go f**k yourself"!
  7. Listening to it right now.
  8. ...or the thread will never happen. Happy 22nd birthday to me.
  9. Got a new level of respect for the Marlins organization for what they did with Greenburg. Kudos, Marlins.
  10. He did it! A no-hitter for Homer Bailey!
  11. But the Rays can be eliminated in this weekend series, can't they? Say they lose tonight, their elimination number becomes 4. Orioles win 2 and Rays lose 2 this weekend, it goes down to 0. Actually, it's the A's ... so, same thing, just put the A's in it. Athletics have the Mariners this weekend, Rays have the White Sox. Plus, the Angels are there. Yes, possible, highly, highly unlikely. You had a month last year to make up 9 games. You have 6 days [after tonight] to make up 2-3. [Or, as of right now, 2.5 cause Oakland lost and the Rays are playing] You're gonna need the Angels and either Baltimore or Oakland to slump hard and slump now. Not really, as long as we're within 3 when the O's come to town Monday, all they Rays have to do is win. Yeah. All they have to do is beat a team that's been hot all year. They've had their ups and downs all year just like the Rays. Season series sits at 9-6 in favor of the O's, so it's not like they've dominated us.

  13. The Rays have 6 days to make up 3 games. With the way that Oakland and Baltimore are playing, I don't see it happening. They play Baltimore to close out the season. I'll give it to you, it's highly improbable, but not impossible.
  14. You know what's funny (not funny "ha ha" , but funny "weird")? You offend Islam, many of their followers riot and cause death in the wake of the protests and they're called peaceful. You offend Christians, they may protest but hardly if any deaths ever happen, and yet they're called hateful bigots. Irony. Just sayin'.
  15. There's more sources than this. Just google it. For example... BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17988142 Reuters: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/08/iran-china-oil-idUSL5E8G85WW20120508
  16. http://www.examiner.com/article/dollar-no-longer-primary-oil-currency-as-china-begins-to-sell-oil-using-yuan I think the American dream bubble is about to burst thanks the inept policies in Washington, by both Republicans and Democrats.
  17. can someone explain to me why this was merged with the wrestling discussion thread? It's not wrestling related outside the victim being a wrestling and it happening on a wrestling show. w/e
  18. The latest word is the Jerry did in fact have a heart attack. He's since been stabilized and had heart surgery to insert three stints. Thoughts and prayers with Jerry and his family.
  19. I don't accept that what they do is encouraging freedom.
  20. Shameless plugin, eh? Yeah, Anonymous is about the lamest thing since canned tuna. I didn't plug anything, it was a link to my website's twitter.
