  1. Pre-tax in general.......but I pay more attentiont to it for larger checks, vs a smaller one that may only be a few cents difference, at which point I'll round up if they don't have one of those exact percentage things digitally. Well, depending on who it is/what company it is, most of the money for the haircut likely goes to the business, not the actual person cutting the hair......some cutters also rent a chair in a place....tipping ensures it goes to them, not the establishment.
  2. Maybe if the players didn't exit the batter's box every play and adjust their gloves swing or not and other useless wastes of time like that, they wouldn't have needed to implement a pitch clock. It sounds like the only shift limitation is 2 guys on each side of 2nd, which I have no problem with.
  3. I haven't had it done before, but I went to a barbershop yesterday for the first time (as opposed to your typical supercuts type places......it's pricier but he includes a wine or bourbon if you want it (yes please), so I may try the beard trim/shave next time just to see how it is. I don't see myself doing it every time, but might be a nice "something different" every other haircut or something.
  4. I tip at sit-down restaurants. With the heavier usage of "digital payment" - i.e. you sign on the screen - The casual "walk through" places now include a tip line......and those are hit or miss for me.....sometimes I'm like "uh no", sometimes I'm like "ok I'll give $1-2", it just depends on my mood at the time.
  5. If anything, it's impressive that Kim has built a 1-run loss machine. Sadly it seems she chalks that up to just luck......I dont expect a busy offseason if she just thinks the luck will turn around with all the same players back.
  6. No we don't want this. Because then they'll fire him and Kim will re-hire him.
  7. @pollythewog in this game thread:
  8. Yeah all things equal someone may pick Miami over….Colorado, but “Miami” on its own is not a draw when you’re well under the other offers. it’d be nice to have had a local owner that understands the overall shit show this organization has been for the last 20 years. Or even a non local one that is able to recognize the issues the team has.
  9. Year 18 of Sixto “shoulder strengthening”
  10. Free agents don't want to come here because they don't pay enough, which then forces them to overspend on the lower-middle tier guys.
  11. I’ve shifted my view in that I fully expect them to not do what they need to do, therefore I have no illusions that they’ll be competitive anytime soon. it was said above what they need to do is relatively simple if they’d just be willing to spend at a normal level and not the bottom as usual. but like I said, I don’t expect them to do that, so I’m not getting any hopes up until they actually decide to invest in their product and act like an actual franchise and not just go through the motions.
  12. Unacceptable. Too high, we need to get him up here so he can learn how to underperform like a true Marlin lol
  13. Itd be nice. But like anything else with this franchise I doubt it.
  14. You're correct, it is "Miami Blue" for both per the team's press releases, it was red that went between "Caliente red" for the regular ones, and "Legacy Red" for the city connect. The blue looks like a lighter/more baby blue shade to the eye on the city connects. Anywho, I'm with you. Black and red should be accents, with blue being the primary color, not black with red/blue accents.
  15. Yeah I don’t want a primary red. Primary blue and if they really wanted to a 1 day a week red
  16. I wish they'd realize it. And realize they'd make more money. I almost went to that with friends if they wanted to go. But they were all busy. I mean, the city connect colors are basically our colors, except the blue is a bit different. If they'd choose to actually use the colorful colors (red/blue) they chose for our regular sets/logos, they'd be onto something, but they're inexplicably dead-set on the use of black as a main color. I'd flip the script, and have the blue be the primary, red an alternate, and have saturday night games be a "NIGHT LIFE" theme with the blackout uniforms.
  17. Who cares, it was fun to be relevant for the first time in 10-15 years
  18. No I remember that. I was referring to the Aguilar comment specifically
