1-6 I think we have a damn good lineup. If healthy CC will have a good average, OBP and a little bit of pop - predicting .290 BA .360 OBP 8 HR I think Infante has a good season, not as good as last year but still a valueable asset to the team - predicting .295 BA 6 HR .340 OBP Hanley is going to be batting with runners on base alot this season and I think he blows up - predicting .325 BA .390 OBP 28 HR 115 RBI 30 SB Big Mike will make strides - predicting .268 BA 32 HR 95 RBI I really like what Gaby does and think he is very much underrated - predicting .285 BA 22 HR 90 RBI Morrison will be a very good 6 hitter - predicting .290 BA .370 OBP 9 HR I didn't like the Buck signing but he's better than what we had and will provide some pop - predicting 15 HR Could care less who plays 3b/bats 8th at this point so I won't make a prediction. With the rotation we have and the much improved bullpen, if our lineup is able to put up these kind of numbers(realistic IMO) we should challenge for the division.

I hate all things BUY but that was one of the greatest shooting performances I have ever seen. No matter who we had on him, no matter how many hands he had in his face, Jimmer couldn't miss. Unreal. Another frustrating close loss for my Lobos tonight. Drew Gordon is a freak of nature. His last two games? 17 points 23 rebounds and 15 points 14 rebounds. Lottery pick if he stays for his senior year.

Brian Windhorst is reporting that the Heat have been floating Mike Miller's name is trade discussions in hopes of acquiring either a PG or C. Adds the Heat could also throw in the Twolves 2011 2nd rounder.

Season kicks off tommorow. Anyone else really excited to get some baseball FINALLY going again? Seems like its been forever since the Giants won the WS. Really interested in seeing how my team(New Mexico) looks this season. We made the postseason last year for the first time since 1962. Only have 1 senior on the roster and the 2nd toughest schedule in the country(non-conference series' @ Arizona State @ Oklahoma State @ Arizona @ Oklahoma @ Texas Tech vs Texas Tech). Should make for one hell of a ride. Two guys to look out for are SO C Mitchell Garver(2009 Honorable Mention High School All-American) and FR 3B DJ Peterson(First Team Louisville Slugger All-American).

It's been a rough season for my New Mexico Lobos, yeah they are 17-9 but that's far from the expectations everyone had for them coming into the season. Only way we go dancing is if we win the MWC tourney which is a long shot.
