Thos two counties, together, could fund the ballpark. They need to put together a campaign and put it on the ballot either in September or November in those two counties. A new tourist sales tax for the park in Palm Beach and Broward.

They are wasting very valuable time. The Marlins need to gain leverage by negotiating with Broward/Palm Beach. Dade isn't going to do it.

Hialeah is the only city in Dade County that could afford such a project, but the Marlins don't want it there. They said no site is being counted out, but Hialeah Racetrack isn't their favorite.

March 15, 200422 yr Why do they not want a Hialeah site? Raul Martinez isn't best man to deal with and the access isn't so great, but it is a good option.
