Castro or Redmond

Featured Replies

First of all, both will stat because Redmond cannot play that many games and Castro can't play all 162.

I would like to see Red catch 25% of the games and Ramon play 75%

Red is the best Sunday catcher in all of baseball :p

Give it to Castro till he proves he can't handle it, but I know that Red can't be our starter for the whole season if we want to make the playoffs. If Castro doesn't live up to his billing, I'm thinking a Kendall or LoDuca trade may be in order...

let Red own him up some lefties...

Ramon will get about 120 games

Redmond, because he is better defensively and offensively. Not as much power, but better contact.

marlins dont need more contact in the lineup. they have plenty. castro provides power which they need to make up for some of the losses

I'd like to see Castro start a majority of the games with Redmond getting the start enough to keep Ramon fresh.
