EDIT: Ramp beat me to it... Anyway, it should be interesting to see how Claudio Vargas pitches against his former organization - while I want him to do well, he should not do that well.

Andy Fox in left huh......

You mean he can play something other than short and second....

Could of said this a couple years ago...

Dont know why he was never played in teh outfield....he can do it.

Juan Pierre leads off for the Marlins....after a 9 pitch AB, he nails one into the gap.....DOUBLE

Luis Castillo....up the middle with a single....Pierre held at 3rd....that was a ROPE!

Mike Lowell is up....1st and 3rd, 0 outs...

Pitch-by-Pitch:

0-1...fouled away

1-1...low and away

Vargas is really worried about the baserunners(JP and LC)

1-2...inside corner

2-2...in the dirt

fouled off....still 2-2.....

fouled off again.....2-2....Castillo was on the run

fouled off....good battle.....2-2 still

fouled off again......

sac fly......that's how it's done DERREK

DLee is up.....Castillo on 1st, 1 outs...

Pitch-by-Pitch:

1-0

1-1...swing & miss

2-1...inside

2-2...fouled off

3-2......Luis steals 2nd(12)

and it hits DLee

Juan Encarnacion....1st and 2nd, 1 out....

Pitch-by-Pitch:

0-1....swing & miss

hit well to LF, but right to Calloway

2 outs

since April 27th, Marlins batting .154 w/RISP

Sea Bass flies out to CF on 1 pitch

1-0

Pavano is 'mowing' the Spos down so far :o

8 in a row set down by Vargas.

Pavano is on fire.....9 up, 9 down....

Pitch counts thru 3 IP

Pavano:35

Vargas:60

keep it up CP

1-0 after 3

Nice so far.

damn...Sea Bass goes deep :banghead

DLee k's to start off the 4th :confused

Juan Encarnacion...hits it hard to LF again, but Calloway with the catch, again...

Sea Bass....its a drive, to deeeeeeeeeep LF, Calloway to the wall, looking up......GONE

just looking for a jinx :lol

and chavez doubles

Leadoff double by Endy Chavez

Orlando Cabrera sac bunts Chavez to 3rd

1 out

Jose Vidro...

We are still waiting for him to come back to earth

Move him up in the lineup Jack...And I hate to be negative after a homerun, but its like 20 out of the last 23 homeruns are solo shots. This is conjecture I know, but this is not...Out of 52 homeruns, 31 have been solo shots.

Actually after checking other teams ratios 40% of a teams homeruns with runners in scoring position is actually pretty good. So... :plain

Vidro singles home Chavez. Dude is a machine. 2-1 Fish.

...Jose Vidro singles to LF.....Chavez scores

2-1

Vlad Guerrero with Vidro on 1st and 1 out.....strikes out on some high queso

Wil Cordero with Vidro at 1st and 2 outs....infield single...off Lowell's glove, Alex grabbed it and threw to 1st but throw was offline.....

Ron Callaway with men on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs...doubles to left center.....dammit....

**I would like to say that if Hollandsworth is out there, he makes this catch**

2-3

Carroll k's......meh

Calloway doubles home Vlad and Cordero! 3-2 Expos :hat

OMG FOX !! GET FOX OFF LF. !!! ANYONE CAN MAKE THAT PLAY!
