A challenge at hand! lol. first off...i said i do that for pudge, are you saying you are pudge? secondly... you are omar minaya... why do you make that trade? is lee an upgrade at first? is castillo an upgrade at second? can you afford to lose an rbi man at second for the speed? do you need penny? what use would you have for stokes if you are picking up lee? and i forget the other players you mention.

May 22, 200323 yr And away we go! Lee is a most definate upgrade at first. He will have more success with less expectations and a smaller park. Plus, I don't think we realize that D-Lee is a great first baseman in any situation that isn't clutch. The Expos probably are the weakest team in MLB at first. Castillo is an upgrade at second. This is because the turf will help his slap hits and send them right up in the air to give him more time to get to first. Plus, he can steal more on the turf. The guy has only been the best NL leadoff hitter for 3-4 years now, and can succed in Montreal very well... You can always need starting pitching. Especially because Orlando is out for the year... And if they wanted to call up Stokes if they got him they could always move D-Lee to LF/RF...

May 22, 200323 yr I think what I have proposed is a great trade for Montreal: Castillo (Starting 2B), D-lee (Starting 1B), Castro (Starting C), Fox (Starting 3B?), TH (Staring LF), Penny (3-5 in rotation), Stokes (Future Bagwell). That sounds like a good trade to me...?

Because if they make this trade they can move some starters to the bench for depth and they improve at every position but RF. Castro has reall kinda proven himself when he does start. Lee would be better there, like I explained earlier.
