Willis's new delivery

Featured Replies

Did anyone else see the slight difference in his mechanics from the wind up? It looked much smoother. His motion from the stretch looked the same, but it seems like he's hiding the ball better now than he was before, and it's not nearly as "herky-jerky."

that was the plan in ST and it seems to have improved his control

It was not very "slight". He pumps his arms now over his head like old time pitchers and the leg kick isn't as drastic. I like it though.

Yeah he is way slower, which is a real good thing and he dose the over the head thing also. I guess whatever works go with it.

looks like d-train is going to have a great year i love his delivery :thumbup

One game doesn't mean anything nor one month. See Kansas City Royals of 03. AS well as AGon.
