I hope your joking with that comment. only half joking. if you watched the game 3 weeks ago... Kevin Willis did a good job of matching muscle with muscle and keeping Shaq out of hte lane. that is the key to defending Shaq. Keep him out of the lane for easy baskets. granted Willis can only go for about 6 minutes at a time these days..... but Kevin will play a crucial role to the Spurs defeat of the Lake show. Its not that difficult to defend the lakers in sum. The team still revolves around Shaq and Kobe. Shaq you have to keep out from teh blocks. With Kobe...he will score...you just have to limit the easy scores. Look at the numbers of Kobe recently against the Spurs. Kobe gets his points...but look at shot attempts...which is key. Bowen forces Kobe to work and earn his points. Anytime a superstar averages a point per shot...you are doing a damn good job. And we havent even looked at how horrible the Laker defense is.
April 16, 200422 yr Ok, thank you for clearing that up, that's better. I believe that the clear favorites in the West are the Spurs and T'Wolves. The Kings are done. The Mavs are done. The Lakers can't do it with all the drama they have going on. It is going to come down to Minnesota and San Antonio IMO.....and that's a tossup series, because I think KG has a better supporting cast than Timmy, but the Spurs have more experience and more experience winning.

I'll live with a Puppy/Spur WCF. Spurs in 6. Spurs win the division and homecourt and all...if not for the refs bascially giving the 4th game of the season between the two teams to the Puppies.

April 17, 200422 yr what does it say to be in that situation against the TrailBlazers that the Lake show was in. The Spurs put them away somewhat easily only a couple days earlier. I guess that Heart of a Champion is stronger.
