May 1, 200422 yr Yet another reason why best-of-7 first round series are a waste of time. Of course, the Jazz would've taken Minny to 7 games, but since this is not the case best-of-7 series are a waste of time.
May 6, 200422 yr Author Big game tonight, Game 2 between San Antonio and LA. I hope the spurs go up 2-0.
May 6, 200422 yr obviously a lot of people in the NBA cares..... they have been talking him up lately.
May 6, 200422 yr yeah Tony's been great, he deserves recognition anyhoos, great win by the spurs - now is the Lakers time to make a comeback with 2 games in LA but I think the Spurros will get at least 1 on the road
May 11, 200422 yr Author Whoa...Game 3 between Kings and Timberwolves was crazy. This game is probably the best game in the playoffs.
May 11, 200422 yr that's a great series it's gonna be fun to see how it plays out im waiting for my wolves-spurs series
May 12, 200422 yr If the Spurs win Game 3, it's going to be a sweep. Now that this is tied 2-2, this is going to go to 7 games. I give the Lakers 25% chance to win.
May 12, 200422 yr you should be worried. the lakers finally look like a real team now, if they keep it up its very possible they could take one in SA. the Spurs are a great team so i really dont know what the f*** is going to happen but you cant count the lakers out now. this series is in for a great finish
May 12, 200422 yr the lakers did this same thing last year in the second round against the spurs. until a road team wins or a team is on the brink of elimination....a series hasnt really gotten going. it will be interesting to see if the lakers can maintain their momentum in san antonio. last night it was the kobe and shaq show mostly...like usual. sunday had everyone involved......not so much last night.
May 12, 200422 yr true but last years lakers team didnt have the talent this team has. people that shouldve been coming off the bench were starting and even mark madsen was getting playing time for gods sakes. i know gp has been whining like a little b***h but it seems they mightve gotten their s*** together after getting killed the 1st 2 games. im not giving them the series but im just saying that they do have a chance if they finally realized whats at stake, especially the mailman and gp.
May 12, 200422 yr Das first you talk like the rest of the NBA might as well not even bother playing because the Spurs will win it all. And then you say the series hasn't really started yet (or something to the extent of that) which I interperet as you saying this series is just starting. Yet you sound so cocky of the Spurs. Which is it?
May 12, 200422 yr Author Damn...I really thought the Spurs were going to win last night. Winner of game 5 might win the series.
Which is it? no i said the winner of this series will win it all. these are the two best teams. period. both teams held serve on their home court. what happens in game 5 is crucial. spurs win and then it forces the lakers to win 2 in a row...one on their home court one in san antonio. lets see....i am a spur fan. i hate the lakers like you hate some of those NFC football teams. why wouldnt i be confident in my team. question
May 13, 200422 yr Tony Parker. Another 'ok' game. Yeah you are right, if you are talking about games 3 & 4.
May 13, 200422 yr Hates to strong of a word to use when I describe the Vikings and Bears, because its a waste hating a football team or any sports team. But I don't like the Vikings, & Bears that much is known. But I see what your sayin Das. :thumbup
