FutureGM
Just proves my point that Jeter is totally overrated...he's 0 for his last 28 trips to the plate. At least A-Rod has come out of his funk, although the Yankees now have Texas Ranger syndrome.
AJB34
if jeter came up with another team, like say the brewers or padres, he would just be considered an above average shortstop if that. he wouldnt even be discussed when it came to debates over the "best" shortstops. but scince hes in NY, his every move is exaggerated

SorianoFanHFW
he has a crap glove. He had a good bat. This year we might as well play without a shortstop (because he makes no plays and gets no hits).
QuickGold
Just think of Jeter as Bizzaro-AGon

I agree that his defense is poor, but his offense is as good as any SS's in the game. Why do you think he is overrated? Because he doesn't hit a lot of HR? That doesn't mean he's automatically a bad hitter.

Shamrock
He'd make an above average 3B, but SF is on the money. Jeter probably costs the Yanks as many runs as he produces over the course of a season. :shifty
SorianoFanHFW
I really advocate a move to second or CF for this man. He's terrible defensively. The reason he doesn't have a billion throwing errors from all of his ballet throws is because he doesn't get to anything. He's terrible. At second base, his quick arm and chancy defensive plays will prove more useful. He would be scarey at third, because quite simply he has no reaction time. I can only imagine the billion bunt singles, and pulled balls that become hits if he plays third. I'm not sure what the big money yankees will do obviously. Personally, I would rather move jeter to second or the outfield and get Koskie for third. Now if I was an ass that like wasting money, I would get Vidro for second base and Koskie for third, move Jeter to centerfield, and work on DH/C/1B with posada, Giambi the same, and the same with williams. However, most likely Posada would still have to catch all the time. The Yankees will probably get Beltran and Vidro in my honest opinion....one of them via midseason trade. catchoftheday
I'd take Jeter's bat in my lineup anyday ... he is going through a slump, so what.... the kid is still good. not the best of course ... by far not the best, but he is not the worst

Craig
This slump is unbelieveable. When it reaches this level, it's more of a mental problem than a hitting slump.
