Miguel and Hee Seop

good point...I used to love the A's back then....they had Eckersley, Henderson, Canseco, Mark...wow. If you really think about it, we have all the pieces: Beckett, Pierre, Cabs...we only need a McGwire :mischief2

If you consider Choi was the #1 prospect in the cubs farm system at the begining of last season you realize the sky is the limit. He and Benitez were great acquisitions. Acquisitions we all questioned.

Beinfest is the best young GM in baseball. imo

once upon a time the oakland A's had two guys who can hit teh long ball and were young very young names were

Mark Mcgwire and Jose Canseco they were known as the Bash Brothers.....

15 years later

2 new guys come they play for the Florida marlins......

Miguel Cabrera and Hee Seop Choi the new Bash Brothers.....

after 21 games Miggy has 9 bombs tied 4 the leauge lead with bonds and sexton and choi right behind em.....

i think the point has been made!!!!!!!!

I prefer the C&C homerun factory...

Cabs is getting most of the attention, both locally and nationally, yet Choi is very comparable in every stat......and leads in OBP SLG and OPS.

Look at this

NAME G AB R H 2B 3B HR TB RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS

M. Cabrera 21 86 20 26 3 0 9 56 20 9 18 1 1 .302 .375 .651 1.026

Hee Seop Choi 19 59 12 17 0 0 8 41 15 10 17 1 0 .288 .400 .695 1.095

they're best friends?

I read it in the Miami Herald. They also mentioned it on the news and they were asking how they communicate... cute stuff. lol

Choi = 17 hits. 8 Homers, the rest singles.

...

You know what....as long as the RBI's are still there i'll take nothing but SIngles and HR's all year!
