I mean, they suck right now and this is a team that is supposed to win the NL West(i think).... the biggest series of the night is the Yanks/A's game and the Yanks are back and to alot of people that is important we won a game. that was it.... and they talked alot about us during the game highlights

Either way if you think about it were being put in the same spot that everyone had us in last year, obscurity. Yeah were in a different situation being world champions, but i think its for the better... even if i do get irritated when they cover another one of Bonds meaningless homer's over Lowell's game winner, and Jack's surprising move to play the newbie (dont wanna butcher his name, so someone help me out). i think were in a good spot, the only thing im scared about is that soon enough one of them is gonna mention us and then they'll start jumping on the bandwagon, or then again maybe not. Fla.) who thought that this team was going to have the best record in baseball on April 30th. the only good thing about all this? reading all those "can you believe these Marlins?" articles as the season progresses by guys like Kurk, Neyer, and Gammons. we've already gotten one from Gammons....i expect many more.

It was nothing more than a chat about how bad the Giants offense needs someone besides BONDS ... which is fine, but towards the end they could have at least mentioned the Grasequi thing ... talk about how Jack is "good for the game" because he's a witty ol'man or something like that, and joke around for a bit ... talk about it or whatever, but it goes by unnoticed. :mellow:
