It's all Bonds all the time.

 

The victory will be overshadowed by father and son and the game will just be the backdrop. GRRRrrrr.

 

Wanna bet there's no mention of the best record in the NL?

I was about to post that.

 

Baseball Tonight: Barry Bonds get's his 10th homer. Who cares that the Giants are 9-15? Who cares that they're falling fast? Who cares that they don't have ANY hitting except for Bonds? Who cares about the 15-7 Marlins and Mike Lowell getting another late-inning homer. Hell, we won't even hear Franklyn Gracesqui's name.

Damn it. They're talking about the stupid Giants! WHY?!

its like every time we win you guys think they should have a 25min piece on us I expect something. They don't talk about the Fish at all. They could talk 30 minutes about Red Sox/Yankees but can't talk one minute about the team with the best record in the NL. If it was the Giants, they'd be talking about them right now, if it was the Braves, same thing. But it's the Marlins. So we get no respect despite winning the WS and having the best record in the NL. MY guess is that they know they were all wrong and the Marlins are just shutting them up. Especially Peter Gammons and Tim Kirkjian.

If Barry Bonds does so much as take a crap, these guys are jizzing their pants with glee, excuse the mental image. You can't deny that they don't give the Marlins the respect they deserve. Why can't they stop beating Barroids, the Yankees, etc. to death for a few minutes and give other players some decent coverage? In the end, I'm not gonna whine and get my panties in a knot because of it. I know what a great team the Marlins are. And even with people like the BBTN guys looking the other way, many other people are realizing it as well.

That's true. But I think Conine said something along the lines of it being nice to see people giving you some respect. Some of the guys have said that they aren't too concerned about it, and like I said, neither am I. They bring their A-game and there's nothing else to be said.
