May 2, 200422 yr "The Ballpark will include a retractable roof, approximately 38,000 seats of which 3,000 are premium seats, and 62 luxury suites. It will also include an aquarium, a community center, and other ballpark attractions." - City/County Manager Memo
May 2, 200422 yr Author an aquarium??? Awesome! Now we know that the extra $30 million is for those "attractions" that could always be added later.
May 2, 200422 yr Yeah, the first year they'll have brine shrimp then they'll add a live Marlin who will hit a home run with its tail.
May 2, 200422 yr An aquarium? Interesting. Can you say end open-end of Orange Bowl endzone type aquarium. :thumbup

May 2, 200422 yr So is it going to be like in Ace Ventura when they had a little tank for the Dolphin? :mischief2
May 2, 200422 yr Author An aquarium would ROCK! Make the place very family oriented. Looks that way...like a ballpark isn't family-oriented already.
May 2, 200422 yr Can marlins be kept in captivity? If we got an actual marlin in our fish tank I would crap my pants.

May 2, 200422 yr No, Marlins cannot be held in captivity! Darn... Put some sharks in there! Maybe put some barracudas or dolphins, so they could fight. Who wouldn't want to see that? PETA?
May 2, 200422 yr Author Marlins couldn't be held in captivity. They would break the glass. Dolphins, large sharks, and baracudas require too much work. I'd say small sharks, clownfish, angelfish, and some tropical fish.
