Wayne is responsible for desinging the lease the Marlins have now, kissing his ass is not going to change his mind he is a business man driven by $$$. The Marlins cannot survive with the lease they have at Pro Player and everyone knows that. The notion of alienating Fans from Broard or PBC is rediculous. First off with the current location of PPS and weather problems in South FLA we have a hard time filling seats for weekday games. If the stadium were closer to a more densely populated area then perhaps we could get more people in the seats during the week. As for weekends I do not see any reason that people from broward can't get in their car and drive to the stadium. s*** I live in Minnnesota and I have to FLY to Miami to goto games now.

have you just crawled out of a smoking Delorean? did you miss what's been going on over the past year? over the past five years? the fact is that the stadium is going next to the Orange Bowl, and frankly, no one is happy about it except the city of Miami, not even the Marlins i would wager. but they were left with no other choice. Trust me...the Marlins would rather be overlooking the water at Bayside, or situated right next to Pro Player and all that beauftiful parking. if you and enough people are so disappointed that the stadium is going to downtown Miami, i recommend show your anger by voting out all the politicians who had zero sympathy to the Marlins' cause....they're the ones at fault, not Sampson.

LOL...it's people like him that give MARLINS fans a bad name. No loyalty to the team whatosever! I just moved to Minnesota and I jump at any chance to goto a MArlins game. I already have plans to drive to Milwakee and go see the Brwers vs Marlins in AUG. I am driving to Detroit to see the Tigers vs Marlins in June. I am also going to Wrigley to go see Cubs vs Marlins in Sept. All those places are about 5 hours drive from my house. Well except Detroit that's a 10 hour drive.
