May 24, 200422 yr They REALLY need to do this with NBA Live. I can't wait until this years version. Last years was so great and fun to play. I could play all night. I'm hoping they fix that stupid free agent glitch and add some more features. NBA Live was really fun this year. I thought the 2002 Live sucked so I did not buy 2003. But I bought 2004 because my friend in the neighborhood convinced me. It has been much fun, and I play online, so If you're up for a game hit me up Double U. I agree that they should do it with salaries instead of points, and I have no clue why they do not create it like that/ Also, the FA glitch was a killer in Franchise Mode... :thumbdown I'd play you online but I have it for Gamecube. @_@ I could still play MVP though. Gamecube...Pffffft!!! Ps2 is the way to go :thumbup I didn't have a PS2 when Live came out! @_@
May 25, 200422 yr ESPN series is better and it doesnt sell more because ppl are madden fanboys. meaning they dont even try espn. they see it has maddens name on it so they buy it. madden regained the raines in 2001 so it hasnt been 10 years. the old maddens ppl played them but werent good. when the 2k series came out on dreamcast it gave it heavy competition. ESPN now has surpassed madden and ppl just wont try espn cause they are obsessed with madden and not trying something new

This year Sega's game has some major improvements that madden doesn't have. A couple of websites have named ESPN Football the best sports game at E3. The only thing is they don't have the name recognition that EA does. I will probably try both games before buying one but I see myself leaning towards getting ESPN again this year.

EA's NCAA football games have always been the best. I'm planning on buying 2005 so long as FIU is included.
May 25, 200422 yr 989 is the one you are thinking about...they suck. I love ESPN because it is more of a realistic looking game with the ESPN style and such. I also liek the 1st person mode and the graphics are sleek...
June 10, 200422 yr Those of you who play Madden might also want to look at ESPN this year. Not only does it have tons of features, but it looks like it will only be $20.
