June 11, 200422 yr UM-UF are slated for day games all 3 days - ESPN sez Mark Light lights are not sufficient for night telecasts. :cool That can be a killer for fans in the mid-day sun. June 12, 200422 yr Author 7-8 Canes. I'm impressed with that leadoff dude for the Canes, and that catcher. Sick pickoff move, reminiscent of OGB (Ole Greedy Bastard--Pudge) in the 2nd. Also, it impressed me that Morris made the #3 hitter lay down a bunt with 0 out 2 on....that's the type baseball I like to see. GO GATORS though. We're comin back!
June 12, 200422 yr Author good game. Canes win....hopefully Gators can pull it out tomorrow, and bring it to Monday. A few things I noticed is that the ump had a HUGE strikezone....for both pitchers...I guess it was unfair both ways...making it fair lol. Also, that last out....Gators looked awfully safe on that. Oh well, Gators screwed themselves over with LOB and 5 errors.

June 12, 200422 yr Author before the series began, it said Game 2 would be at Noon or at 3. I dont know if it's been decided yet. Today's game was on ESPN2. I reckon tomorrow it'll be on the deuce or ESPN. Craig Minervini got on my nerves.
June 12, 200422 yr I couldn't see most of the game because I had something at my house, but it was a nice W for the U. The parts I saw looked like textbook UM play this season, running at all times. It looked like the Gators were trying to do the same thing too, but Erick San Pedro is pretty good at nailing runners. I didn't expect today's game to be as high scoring but that's what happens in the Light sometimes I guess. Hopefully UM can wrap it up tomorrow, and either way I hope it is another great game.

In a game between FSU and Miami, I root for Miami though because FSU blows. I found it especially funny how FSU blamed the Miami regular season loss on the rain, then when there were clear skies they still lost...
