Torborg Sighting

Featured Replies

I know this doesnt really have much to do with the Marlins, but if you want to see/hear Torborg, he has been hired to call the Miami-NC State super-regional on ESPN with FSN's Craig Minervini this weekend. It will be on ESPN Today at Noon, tomorrow at 2:30, and Monday at 1, if necessary.

I'm seeing right now that's funny craig minervini (marlins pre-game broadcaster)and jeff torborg(former marlins manager) are broadcasting the game together. :lol

The Canes did a better job. Coming back from a 9-3 defecit and winning it on a homerun in the bottom of the 9th from Ryan Braun. Remember that name-freshman shortstop who led the Canes in average, home runs, RBI, slugging, many other categories. Jim Morris, coach of the Canes, likens him to Nomar, who Morris also coached in college.

That was an exciting comeback.

Well if Torborg was involved with an amazing comeback, than you know he wasn't the coach behind it...

I like him better in the both rather than the dugout...

Torborg has mentioned the marlins a few times. now they got alex fernandez visiting in the booth.
