i go to HHS and i knew the kid that the mother set the house on fire and he died. last year two people from HHS died and every year about 2 or 3 people die from HHS. People kill themselves for the stupidest things. well some parts of hialeah have improved dramatically while others have stayed poor and depressing. there is a huge problem in hialeah with delinquents. if you want spinner rims get a damn job with your "THUGS and HOMIES" and pay for them and don't ruin a family's life for a piece of metal.

If crime doesn't affect you, why don't you go live in Downtown Miami? There are apts and homes there that can be bought for a song since they're trying to revitalize that area.

My eyes are wide open. I have lived in Dade all my life. I know it's not perfect with white picket fences. I am just saying that it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

I lived in Hialeah for over 6 years... and yes it's pretty bad...

Yea, it's not perfect, I know that. Certain parts are worse than others. But people are definitely overreacting when they say they won't step foot in Hialeah because they're going to get robbed.

 

But just like Max said, what do you expect from a large city? I feel pretty safe in my neighborhood. At night, it's a little different, yes. You should be more cautious at night. But overall, it's not that bad, really. Thank God, so far, nothing has happened to me.

Now I live closer to Hialeah Gardens.

the area where you live in (33012) is the better section of Hialeah... near the Westland Mall... but the eastern section of Hialeah is the worst of them all...

things have gotten worse since i used to go to school there. i hate going to hialeah because of the drivers. almost as bad as driving in little haiti (where i went to high school). driving in little haiti is like playing russian rulette with a loaded pistol. i once saw 4 accidents there within 10 blocks of each other. :plain

its like in San Antonio...the odds of getting robbed in the east or west sides of town are much higher than on the north sides persay.

 

 

hell i dont know why anyone would want to live in an area where crime rates are higher than average if they could afford to move out of that area.

I've only gotten into one collision and it wasn't even my fault. The moron who hit me ran the red light while I was crossing with the green light. :confused

no but driving in little haiti is a death wish. i mean people run red lights all the time (something that isnt very easy to avoid) they park halfway on the street and you cant see it until you notice that the car in front of you has suddenly swerved out of your lane, and people walk out into busy traffic with no warning and then when you come to a screeching hault to avoid charges of involuntary man slaughter they look at you with this face like "wtf is your problem... i can take you AND your car" :banghead

My grandparents have lived in Hialeah for over 30 years and they havent been robbed yet from what I know and hopefully it stay that way.

 

Like some said earlier some parts of Hialeah are better than others. I think anything after 4th ave is when the neighboorhoods start getting worse.

Personally, I blame the Republicans.
