Carl Everrett would not be a bad LF even though he is very very slow, he can swing the bat pretty well.

I wouldn't mind Everett

doesnt he have a bad attitude though? Everett has a bad temper but I've heard he is a very good teammate. His teammates say he is a very misunderstood person. Yes sir.

He was in fact one of the most popular guys in the White Sox Clubhouse during our stretch run with Everett on the squad last season. ive always liked everett offensively

just checked his stats...

pretty good BA with RISP....batting .297

batting .381 with bases loaded

most effective in the 5th and 6th holes (batting around .300)

Everett was swingin the bat very nice in the 2 games I saw him vs. the White Sox... and they were both lefties. (Beurhle and some pudwack)

The point I was trying to make was that we need a guy who hits right handed pitching well, and Everett has historically been a much better hitter against right handed pitching.

Conine has hit very well against lefties this year and they would make quite a nice tandem in left.

man everett is hurt AGAIN (hamstring)

He's been on the DL twice due to ankle and shoulder problems already this year and now his hamstring is strained...

The team will deal for a bat. Beltran is possible.

hope beinfest hears you brother...

If Mickey and Miguey start hitting... We'll get going again. It's just a bad slump I hope.

Conine has a problem shoulder, Beckett has not been lucky with minor injuries, Choi is fine (I still think this whole "righty" "lefty" BS is just that, BS), Easly is good for pinch hitting not starting. Juanpy is in a bad slump, but he'll come out of it, interestingly enough his average is still on or above .300. Castillo is been consistent, he just hasn't had anyone backing him up.

Another bat may help a bit... But such bat has to be "clutch" like and the kind of guy that sparks his team mates interest...
