Well I was thinking about something that happened last year and thought it would be interesting if you guys have experienced any road rage from yourselves or others.People are insane sometimes

 

My road rage story that happened to me last year. So senior year of high school I go school around 1030(did duel enrollement so didn't have to go to the high school until later) drive everything is all good. So I get to school and I always went into the parking lot the wrong way. I did that then got out of the car and started to walk towards the school when a truck pulls up next to me. I figured it was someone yelling at me for going in the wrong way. The guy calls me over and goes "If you ever f****** cut me off again I will break your neck you little piece of s***."

 

So I'm standing there trying to figure out when I cut him off while he screams and yells. He says I did coming out of my neighborhood. He never honked or flicked me off or anything. I really didn't cut him off either. But he followed me the 8 or 9 miles to school to scream and yell out me. So I'm just trying to get him to leave and he continues to yell and then gets out of the car and starts to come at me and continues to make threats about beating the 's***' out of me when one of my friends walks up and he kind of back s away and leaves. He says he is going to the cops and going to have me arrested...I was pissed so I turned into a sarcastab**** and go "Yeah if you go to the cops you're the one getting arrested because you came onto school property, threatened a minor, and with another witness present." He muttered some stuff to himself and left.

 

I've only seen him twice since then even though live in a real small town. But both times I did I gave him a big thumbs up with a huge smile. Pissed him off good I guess. But anyways that was freaky as hell for me

I had an instance where I was waiting for a space. Had my signal on and everything. Another car (on the other side, facing me) was stopped but really far away from the space I was waiting for.

 

When the lady pulls out, I start to make my move and the other car speeds up and cuts me off, screaming,

"Hey- we were waiting for this space!"

 

Honestly, I didn't see them and neither did my spouse.

I got so frustrated that I shouted back, 'You're a putz!" and found anothe space.

 

This lady's son (i'm guessing around 18-20 years old) comes charging out of the car towards me and is screaming, "Hey- who are you calling a putz?"

 

I thought it was funny and was about to bring it but my spouse didn't want any bloodshed, so I backed off. I was ready for it and would have gone lights out but I thought better of it.

 

Thesedays, you don't know if they're packing or not. And my spouse is too young to be a widow.

I have exciting car stories...excellent thread!!! They're not really road rage, but, here they go:

 

1) I crashed my new JEEP cherokee against a palm tree, after losing control of the car on a curve....TOTAL LOSS

2) one other time, I was following my uncle to a paintball park, and I left my cell home, so if I got lost, I would've been unable to play paintball....I was on the left lane of the turnpike, he took an exit located at the right, so I just turn right, cut through 3 lanes and land on some grass, about 10 feet away from a cliff!!!

 

I have a friend who started racing with some ghetto ass kids, and after he beat the s*** out of them, the other kids catched up and started shooting at my friend's car!!! he was scared shitless, of course....

Nice, but this is a road rage thread.

 

Did we just get car-jacked?

me and a bunch of pledge brothers were drivin from Greenville, SC down to Jacksonville...we had about 4 or 5 trucks and SUVs headin down there. Anyway, I'm in my truck, and we're on I-26 near Orangeburg, SC.....and I see this dude lookin pissed off in this little red truck...I guess someone had cut him off or somethin. So he passes, and my friends of course being idiots told me to catch up with him and pass him...so I do...and my friends followin me do the same....so like 3 cars pass him and get in front of him...so he's pissed, but I guess he forgot my truck and focused on the last two cars....a 4runner and a Tahoe. He flicked off my buddies in the Tahoe, so naturally, I see (through my rearview mirror) 4 middle fingers stickin out all 4 windows of the Tahoe in response. Well, he got pissed, pulled up next to the 4runner and Tahoe and waved a gun at him....so they backed off, and someone called the cops...I guess it coulda been more interesting, but you don't mess with people in SC when they wave guns.

 

Another time was I was a junior in high school, and since I have a late birthday (august), the first week of school i still had to find a ride to school...so we're goin on this 2 lane road, and this dude tries passin us on a double line...so we decide to be funny and speed up...goin the same speed as him so he couldnt get over...well he speeds up even more (we were in some POS car) gets in front of us and stops (forcing us to stop). He then gets out of the car comes over to us and cusses us out....we were smartasses to him, eventually he left, and no harm done...except we laughed at him....a lot.

road range is usually somewhat interesting.

one time i accidentally blocked a ladies left turn by accident. i had just started driving and when i realized that the lady was blocked i tried to tell her i was sorry and she just flipped me off.

 

 

one other time i was leaving the gas station and i was turing right, this lady was coming with her right signal on so im thinking she's turing right so i start going and she just honks at me and yelled some s*** out and passed me. I f***ing followed that b***h a little (since i was going the same way) and honked at her and then i passed her with my window down and screamed some s*** at her. (it bugs me when people dont turn when they have a signal on)

 

 

one other time i was leaving the same gas station and this car just parked right in front of me and i started honking and waving my arms trying to get him to move. so i decided to pass him but first i was going to look into his window and try to tell him some s***. when i got there with my finger going up the guy rolled downs his window and it was my friend smiling. he had seen me and decided to f*** with me a little.

another time this crazy motherf***er passed me speeding and passed a stop sign but was able to stop after he passed it. he didnt noticed it because of his speed until it was almost to late. the bastard tried backing up but i went right behind him honking and looking at him laughing and calling him names and not letting him back up. cars had to stop and try to get around him because he was almost all the way on the street.

 

i hope i dont ever get shot.

then he passed me and cut me off.

 

 

i followed him with my middle finger extended for about 3 miles...got up on his bumper and honked my horn...got on the side of him and passed him up yelling and screaming and tellin him he was a f***ing prick...finally he took an interchange like a little p***y.

the dude saw das' .30-.30 on the gunrack...he pooned out

If he hits his brakes and you crash into him (which you WILL do, because it takes about a minimum of 1/2 sec to recognize and start reacting to a situation), then YOU will be the one who gets the ticket and points.

 

There's only one situation where a rear end hit is the other person's fault - if they back up into you. Any other situation, YOU are on the hook for reckless driving.

 

If you leave 3 seconds (at any speed) between you and the next car, a whole lot of dangerous situations are avoided. With 3 second, you can recognize and react in a very controlled manner to any threat from the front. thank you for hte lesson in driving.

One time we were on the expressway down here in Dade and my dad is driving. So this lady in front of us is swerving in and out of traffic and cuts my dad off every two seconds. Well being the driver he honked his horn to let her know about here driving wasn't appreciated. So shes on her cell and flips my dad off for like 10 seconds. I was laughing at this jerkoff lady.

 

 

 

Another time just recently, this big truck, I think a F150, was swerving in and out of traffic on South Dixie highway and almost crashed a couple of times. So this car next to us stops and talks to the person about his driving and he starts yelling at them and crap. Next light, he kept on doing it but we were now away from the jerk.

 

 

 

Those are my recent road rage happenings.

This wasn't even on the highway or anything. I was driving in my development to my house with my mother in my car and there is a four way stop which I do as usual and this van that was also there follows me INTO MY DRIVEWAY and this woman gets out and starts lecturing me on how I didn't stop long enough and that there could've been children (uh, there wasn't) and going on and on with my mother and I just staring at her, aghast at her balls. Who did she think she was?? A horn is enough, b***h!

One time, Max and I were on the highway and we were getting off 836 to get on 826. The exit was this long curve and we had to be real careful. Some jackass behind us starts tailgating us and Max got annoyed and started driving reeeeal slow to get on their nerves.

 

One time on 826, I was switching lanes and the car in front of me tried to switch too, but the moron didn't have his right switch on. So, I started switching and at the same time, he did too. I was speeding up when I switched because I wanted to pass him. He was going maybe like 50. So, he swerves to the right lane as I am switching and he swerves back to the other lane because I was coming. He freaked me out, seriously. He then gets behind me and starts honking his horn at me and making some weird hand gestures at me and laughing at me. I am here looking at this guy wondering what the hell his problem was. He was the one who didn't have his switcher light on. What the hell did he think I was? Psychic? Like if I knew he was about to switch lanes. Then I get off an exit and he gets off that exit too and drives behind me for awhile still making stupid faces and hand gestures at me. He then later turned to another street and I lost him. He started scaring me. I thought he was following me. Stupid people....
