June 30, 200422 yr Wouldnt it be awesome for him to be a marlin again? He can play first to platoon with Choi and play in the corner outfield spots. He is also a great hitter and could be a solution. Also, all of the players love him. Would the Red Sox be willing to trade him? Th only problem is that he is being paid $3,300,000.
June 30, 200422 yr Boston probably would trade Millar for a Penny or Pavano, but the Marlins wouldn't.
June 30, 200422 yr Millar spoke out as hard as anyone against the current Marlins management (when he was with the Red Sox). He was dead wrong and they will NEVER take him back. He was a big mouth that had no idea what he was talking about and now his friends have a ring and he does not.
June 30, 200422 yr He had a big mouth when the whole Nomar-ARod thing came up too. Don't want him. He hasn't done much on the field since last July anyway.
June 30, 200422 yr From what i have seen he hasnt done much since leaving Florida (i might not be correct). But he is my favorite Marlin.. so i guess i am biased...
June 30, 200422 yr Wouldnt it be awesome for Gary Sheffield to play RF for the Marlins again? Why not trade for Mike Piazza too. They will improve the slump of offense that we got. And they are both former Marlins.
June 30, 200422 yr Ofcourse Theres also that That Boston wouldnt ask too much for Millar. Since he isnt doing Alot for them at the moment

What planet are you from? God help us all. :thumbdown Not a chance in h*ll he'll be back after the way he bad-mouthed Marlins ownership, not to mention he's slow, fat and can't hit anymore.
June 30, 200422 yr Let boston keep him. I don't want that stupid "cowboy up" bull crap to make its way south.

June 30, 200422 yr "Dont tell mah heart, mah achey breaky heart. I just dont think it'd understand..." :hayseed

Plus Piazza was only a Marlin for like a day.
June 30, 200422 yr I heard the Sox will give him for about 7 dollars in change and a Harry Carey resteraunt menu.

I know i was just sayin that becuase lately everyone on this board wants to bring back former Marlins player back, so those were the only two that came into my mind.
June 30, 200422 yr it's not a matter of gary sheffield costing too much. it's a matter that he's in a new york yankees uniform, where he wants to be. and the mets would get rid of mike piazza.. but the whole thing is they actually are trying to contend this year and he is the reason why, offensively.
June 30, 200422 yr everyone brings up former marlins.. but no one brings up renteria! that's who i'd like to see back! and i like alex gonzalez, but renteria can take his spot any day.
