July 6, 200422 yr I remember when I was taught the knuckleball (only pitch I cna throw due to my right arm not being dominant enough over the left) and it is a pitch I could throw even with my blister problems. Josh should learn this pitch as a way to help him deal with the blisters and Willis should learn it as a pitch he can use to keep hitter off balance.

July 6, 200422 yr no power pitcher in modern history has thrown the knuckler. the knuckler is thrown by soft tossers for a reason. dontrelle could maybe learn a screwball if you want a 'gimmick' pitch. josh just needs to trust his stuff and mix it up. change ups are good things.

You don't need to get all your knuckles on the ball in order to control it or throw it right.
