Ramp
Don't forget Rick Ankiel. Whatever happened to him? He was supposed to be the next big thing 458501 He had Tommy John last year and is hoping to pitch in the minors later this year. He's still 24 years old so if he could figure it out quickly he could still have a good career. 458518 I heard they are trying to make him a hitter fulltime

FutureGM
My picks: -Jose Canseco -Darryl Strawberry -Jeff Allison (if he doesn't make a comeback) -Josh Hamilton -Greg "Toe" Nash (former D-Rays prospect who got in trouble with the law several times, and despite amazing talent, is out of baseball)

FreshFish
I don't think you should consider players that never or haven't made it to the Majors.
Passion
Why not? If someone was tared highly or was a high draft pick and doesnt make it, that would be a waste.

METSrosexual
yeah im gonna have to go with the Straw man on this one, though i hate to say it. waaay too much talent to be pissed away on drugs. id also put his buddy Doc Gooden up there too, as he had the same problem, just not as bad. it still affected his legacy. Canseco, my favorite player of all time, would without doubt be in the 700 HR club if not for the wasted mid-late 90s in which he couldnt play more than 50 games a year. quickest bat ive ever seen. anyone know what happened to Vince Coleman??
Nugget
Vince Coleman had drug problems, I think. The fool had 4 straight seasons with 100 or more steals. I don't think we'll ever see that again.
Nugget
Denny McLain definetly ranks up there. I'd also put Roger Maris in there too. He had some good to great years but his overall stats aren't good enough to land him in the hall.
Passion
How did Maris...WASTE his career? Explain that to me.

If someone was tared highly or was a high draft pick and doesnt make it, that would be a waste. 459064 It my opinion, someone that has not proven his abilities at the ML level shouldn't be called an All Time Wasted. Maybe All Time Bust
Passion
But if thye had the talent and dont produce, they have essentially, waste their career.

MVPosey
How can we forget: Bobby Bonds He would have been as good as his son and Willie if he didn't drink and smoke so much, and that's what probably eventually ended his life so soon
