Pavano Might Be new Bachelor

Featured Replies

THE BACHELOR

Looking to remain in the sports realm, producers of the reality TV show The Bachelor asked starter Carl Pavano to star in a future season. New York Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer was in the series that aired earlier this year.

"Honestly, could they have picked a better guy?" Pavano said. "They sure did their homework."

A 28-year-old West Palm Beach resident, Pavano is not in a serious relationship and is in no rush to settle down. Within the past year his celebrity grew beyond the baseball world while he dated actress Alyssa Milano. They are no longer together.

"If there ever was someone who could fit the role ... it was flattering, but not interested," Pavano said.

thank God Pavano turned it down. being on that show is an embarrassment in my opinion.

I'm not surprised they asked him, he's a good looking guy but it's pretty funny that out of the thousands of sports starts, one of our own was asked but I guess because not a lot are single.

omg pavy is so damn hot..its no wonder they asked him but im glad he didnt accept it lol

Cool to see the Marlins getting noticed like this, but Pavs would have had to deal with some alot of jokes if he decided to go on that show.
