July 31, 200421 yr It's a toss up between Andruw Jones, Carlos Beltran and Jim Edmonds. Beltran is the best switch hitter game and Edmonds is a little better defensively and still has the bat. Andruw Jones is awesome defensively but has been having a slow year this year so i'm counting him out of the running. Beltran is probably the most versatile player in the league. I'm just going with Edmonds because of his absolutely sick plays... SHADES OF WILLIE MAYS!

July 31, 200421 yr im not trying to say that Beltran is waaaaaaaay better than Edmonds. my reasoning is that they have similar offensive power numbers, are just as good as each other defensively, maybe Edmonds being a bit better, though not by much. what puts Beltran over for me is that he is a sick base stealer. he smokes Edmonds at that. everything else is comparible.

Jones was a good fielder, now he shows off in the field and it hurts his fielding. His zone rating and range factor has been consistently dropping because he tries to showoff. Edmonds makes the great plays, but also does the unnoticed things
