The fish would be one game closer if the pen didn't blow game 2 with SF. :thumbdown

Don't look back, only look forward.

Cubs don't play that many winning teams from here on. They play FLA and ATL, and that's about it. The fish have a more difficult schedule.

So, they are still major league teams.

Anyone ever thought that the Marlins have played 4 games less than SF GIANTS & 2 less than Houston and less than CUBS and PADS. Presuming we win nearly all those games in hand then you could count us as most definitely in the WC chase.

Sure SF GIANTS have more rest days than us now, and CUBS have easier schedule but we're ready to do battle so it seems. Perhaps even that Bad loss on Wednesday (which I'm still heated up about) has fired up the team big-time.

Keep this going. GO FISH!!

GO BECKETT!! :cool

i said the other day that things looked real bad and this was on the verge of being over but damn those standings look nice right now.

Cubs don't play that many winning teams from here on. They play FLA and ATL, and that's about it. The fish have a more difficult schedule.

But we don't have a curse to deal with ;)

Heh, The Marlins won again. This team is kinda good or something.

:whistle

Only one game behind the Giants in the loss column

I hope we overtake them tomorrow...I want to see us climbing the standings...NOW!
