August 3, 200422 yr A lot of you guys are too young to remember the REAL Neil Rogers. I am still a fan of his but he has become what he used to rail against daily....an old person unhappy about everything. Neil Rogers in the 80s and through the mid-90's was as good as it gets. Aging and becoming less tolerant of everything happens to us all....hey the other night I was amazed at all the freaks at the Madonna concert. But I realize that when I was 15 years old and Madonna first hit it big I was one of the freaks. We go from freak to adult to middle age to angry 492227[/snapback] Neil got in trouble all the time with WINZ, WIOD and now with WQAM. He picks up fines like Hordichuk picks up penalties for the Panthers.

Mandich was talking about the shuffling today and he was dancing around the Humper issue. He said that none of the hosts know what is going on. He refered to the incident as the "elephant in the studio" that no one was to talk about (nice choice of words). He also noted that management at the station has basically told everyone in house to check the Herald tomorrow for an explanation on what is going on. Here's hoping for some good news. I am just concerned that the Humper might transfer to ESPN radio.

August 5, 200422 yr Goldberg clashes again with WQAM WQAM-560 suspended afternoon host Hank Goldberg on Tuesday after he made comments a day earlier about Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria. Goldberg had said on the air that there were rumors Loria was separated from his wife, and that his wife is the one with ''the money.'' Goldberg noted that team president David Samson is the son of Loria's wife, Sivia. The Marlins were believed to have been upset with Goldberg's comments, and WQAM general manager Greg Reed suspended him indefinitely. Goldberg confirmed he has been suspended without pay but declined further comment. Goldberg served a weeklong suspension in March after a parking lot confrontation with another station employee.
